I’ve tried lots of hair masks since I do one at least once a week, and this one surprised me (in a good way)! It left my hair soft, silky, and very shiny (and no leftover smell for those who don’t love fragrance). This is my hair 24 hours after the hair mask and 2 sweaty workouts later! No other product or heat was applied. I will say, this product did not have a ‘pretty’ smell, but it also didn’t have a bad smell. I adore this hair mask. I got it after seeing the reviews and had high hopes for it. Let's just say, I wasn't let down! The container is a good size, bigger than most of its more expensive counterparts, and is filled up all the way!! The smell is divine, smelling mostly of mint with hints of rosemary. The scent isn't too strong, either, and I have a very sensitive nose. You also don't need to apply a lot of product for it to do its job, which is nice. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was that it isn't the easiest to comb through your hair. Like, the Kristen Ess mask is "slippery" and easy to finger comb through your hair, while this hair mask doesn't have that instantly detangling quality that makes it easy to comb through. I did like how soft it made my hair feel after, but with this hair mask you absolutely HAVE to follow it up with conditioner, otherwise the moisture doesn't last as well and your hair doesn't stay as soft. I’ve only started using this product so far so I’m not sure the benefits of hair growth but I got the oil and the conditioner. The conditioner made my hair feel very very dry when I got out of the shower and it all kind of clumped together so that’s new for me. And the oil is definitely very very greasy and It’s something that you’ll have to put in before washing your hair cause there’s no way you can actually function throughout the day with your hair that oily.
