These are easy to install on fence post to string your outdoor lights. Looks good even if you take them down but keeps them secure if you leave up year round. Great find, thank you!

These look like they are built well for the task. They are sturdy and have decent welds making them more than adequate to only suspending light strings. You could even tie a wire or cord between each post, or mount a pipe or rod through them and then hang bird feeders, lanterns, etc. from the wire, cord, post, or rod. These can be painted to better match your fence or brick if you don't like the black. (Maybe they will be offered in other colors at some point?) I am very happy with these mounting light poles and am looking forward to using them next spring. ... show more

These appear to be well made and of quality material. They feel heavy and sturdy despite being rather short. I am happy with the size as they will provide a place to hang bistro lights without interfering with my umbrella or the tree next to the deck. These will also be much easier to install on the second story deck than others I’ve seen. The black is sleek and will disappear in the evenings. I was pleasantly surprised by these. They are very sturdy (although they're simply holding a light strand) and easy to install. We used them on the side of our deck which was a nice change since we are currently hanging the lights around the railing and it hasn't worked well. This adds the light and the ambiance and we can keep them up year round so it'll be easier to hang the lights in the spring. ... show more

This product is exactly as described in the photos and description. It was pretty easy to install on our fence post as it came with instructions. So far our outdoor lights have stayed on these really well without issues! Very happy with these and definitely recommend.

    • Great solution to low fences and overhangs
I have a problem with my party lights in the back yard because they hang so low. By the time I string from the fence to the house, they hit taller people on the head. These posts are provide an extra 16 inches of lift so the little "droop" in the middle of the light span doesnt' hit anybody in the head anymore. The set comes with enough that I could go from the house to the fence a couple times. They seem strong enough to hold up the larger bulb LED strings ... show more
