This phone case is exactly what I needed. After a few months of testing, it has kept my phone completely safe during multiple pretty large drops. The case itself withstands damage pretty well, too, with only minor dings in the corners. I would say that there are two downsides to this phone case: 1, the volume buttons aren't spaced out very much, and can lead to some miscommunication; and 2, the case's texture is very slippery, leading to most of the drops it's collected over the past couple months. I bought this Feb 2022 and Dec 1st it's ran it's course. I went to website for warranty but I still have to pay 10 bucks for taxes and shipping and handling. It says the case arriving may even be refurbished so it could be used. Will look at another case.

Let's start by saying that I have always had great experiences with this specific otterbox case. My first one lasted me years until it started cracking. So I ordered this one. I also write reviews regardless of good/bad experiences. I opened it up and noticed a crack in the bottom corner so I looked over the rest of it. I noticed the wear marks/smooth marks on the back of the case, the crack in the corner, a little cut mark on the opposite bottom corner and dirt/God only knows what crusted in the little crevices of the case, the whole way around. Nowhere on the item page did it say that it was a used/opened item. I will be returning and buying elsewhere. ... show more

    • Weak point on corner, protects phone well.
On one occasion the phone case cracked in the corner but protected the phone from any similar damage. Certainly preferable to purchasing a whole new phone. Fingerprint reader is in the phone screen for this Samsung model, so the case doesn't effect it at all.

The case is a bit slippery but other than that it works my power button isn't clicky like my volume up and down, might just be my case only though.
