I love this case! It is a little bit of a fingerprint magnet, but my iPad screen is no different. So whenever I wipe the screen I just give the case a little wipe down as well. I really like the blue of this generations iPad, so I wanted a case that would show it off. This case does exactly that! It has a premium feel and look. It is a thin case, but sturdy enough to withstand a little beating. I have dropped my iPad more times than I would like to admit, but this case has taken it like a champ. I haven’t dropped it out in the street or anything, but it has hit my kitchen tile and several airport floors. The case still looks brand new even after all of that! The media could not be loaded. These let the color shine through, which is helpful to identify different devices. Overall they seem sturdy, however the corner by the power button is only soft material, leaving it potentially vulnerable. I assume this was done to make it easier to attach, but I'd rather have a harder corner. The small flap for the pencil will be nice if we ever get them, but even then, it likes to stay in front of the screen when propped up, so it is a minor annoyance. Would be nice if its magnet kept it on the back of the case, or if it was a part of the main flap instead (it would hide in the fold when propped). The main flap does not have any extra material on its opening edge to catch a finger in order to make it easier to lift. I realize this is nitpicking, but if we are going for perfect usability, these things matter. Again, if the pencil cover was part of the main flap, this would be useful for opening it, too. Aside from those quirks, I am really happy this design exists. Thanks for reading! ... show more

Apple tried to convinced me that their folio was better than Otter Boxes. I ordered theirs and promptly sent it back. It was just a magnetized piece of cardboard and soft protector. If you really want to protect your $600-1k device, get an Otter box. It offers the best overall protection I have found. I have tried several different cases with less than satisfying results. The iPad this protects belongs to an 8 year old and incurs frequent falls onto carpet, hardwood, and concrete. There is not a dent or a scratch to be found on the iPad. ... show more

I purchased this cover for my Gen 4 iPad Air. Previous OtterBox case had a slick slide in - slide out "drawer". If you removed the stylus the drawer disappeared into the case. Very elegant! The iPad was easy to hold with or without the stylus installed. The new design "fold over" flap holds the stylus when the case is closed. OK when the iPad is closed, but when cover is opened the flap doesn't have anywhere to go and the stylus is not secure! ... show more

Got this case to replace my Apple smart folio with something more protective. Feels very sturdy and the clear back shows off my blue iPad. The flap that covers the pencil is nice bc I used to always lose mine but kind of gets in the way when I set it up.
