As expected, the case snapped on and fit perfectly. I purchased the Opal Prism Blue and the color is fantastic! The back of the case is partially transparent, so mileage may vary depending on the color of your phone. However, what I wasn’t expecting was how vibrant the color of the case’s sides would be. The plastic is thicker here and it really makes the light blue pop. It definitely stands out amongst cases I’ve bought in the past and the MagSafe functionality works exactly as intended. I love the slim feel of this OtterBox case — it doesn’t add bulk but still feels sturdy and well-made. It offers the durability you’d expect from OtterBox, which is why I went with it. However, there’s a clear design flaw on the right side of the case, where there’s a gap that doesn’t fully close. Unfortunately, I dropped my phone on the first day, and it landed right on that spot. It cracked my screen protector (thankfully not the screen), but that gap definitely left it vulnerable. Design & Aesthetics: The checker pattern is super cute and stylish without being overwhelming. It adds personality compared to a plain case, and it looks great in person. Definitely one of the more fun OtterBox options. Compatibility & Features: The MagSafe compatibility is spot on — my PopSocket attaches and works seamlessly, which was a must-have for me. The slim profile makes it easy to hold and slide in/out of pockets without feeling bulky. Protection: As expected from OtterBox, it feels sturdy and protective overall. The case covers the edges well and has enough grip to feel secure in hand. The only downside is the camera protection: while there is a raised lip, it’s not as pronounced or bulky as I’d like. A little extra depth around the camera cutout would make me feel more confident about laying it flat or in case of drops.
