Heavy with great protection. I’m not a huge fan of the action button opening in the case considering I don’t spend a lot of time taking pictures. If you are this is a good design. It’s a great case . Update: 4-14-25. After a couple weeks I’ve decided to get another case. I've been buying Otterbox products ever since I got my first iPod and have never been disappointed. Their products are made to last and they have performed well for me for many years. I recently upgraded my iPhone 12 to the 16 Pro and without a second thought purchased this new one. Its fit and finish is flawless and is, in my opinion the best iPhone protection you can buy. While OtterBox product's are more expensive than other low priced cases, in my opinion, which is based on personal experience, the extra cost is well worth the money. If I had one complaint it would be that my previous purchases always came with a clip on belt clip and, unfortunately, OtterBox no longer includes one. ... show more

Otterbox mobile phone cases are built like tanks. Yes, they are pricier than other brands, but you get what you pay for. Easy to insert your phone into the case with all ports and buttons aligning perfectly. Also has a textured finish which makes for a non-slip grip. Highly recommend.

I have been using the OtterBox Defender on my iPhones for many years. I am prone to dropping my phone on occasion and they have always come through without any damage. They are well designed for a perfect fit. Easy assembly of the inner and outer parts. The outer protective covering has a nice textured finish for a good grip. OtterBox has excellent customer service and stands behind their products. On a previous phone the charging port cover separated after years of use and they provided a free replacement. My only complaint and reason for a 4 star rating is that with the OtterBox Defender it previously included a screen protector. And at this price point they should be included as well as a protector for the camera lens. Also, be aware that a one piece camera lens protector will not work with this 2 piece Defender series case. The inner plastic case will not close at the top. The individual 3 piece lens protectors install without interfering with the inner case. I would recommend these cases to others. They are not pretty,add weight and a little bulk but they do the job they were designed for. ... show more

    • Not like they used to make them
Senders sent me the wrong phone case despite me ordering the correct case. I used to love otter box cases but now a days I’ve seen a decline in their quality. They no longer come with the front cover. I ordered this case specifically for that. Not sure why they stopped having the front barrier to the top portion of the case but it’s not what I wanted and so I’m returning it. Value of the item for the money is not worth it. Seems like it would be functional but I was sent the wrong case so I won’t know if it even works properly and I wouldn’t even reorder the same case because it just seems over priced for what you get. ... show more

This otterbox has a different feel than the 14 pro version, but I still prefer it over other brands. It was easy to put on, even with camera/screen protectors already on. I really like the charging port cover, that’s one of the big selling points for why I have gotten nothing but Otterbox defenders since my first iPhone 4. That, and I have never had a phone break or crack while in a defender case. I tried another brand when I first got the 16 pro, just to see if anything else would be better. It wasn’t. I dropped my phone once and the screen protector shattered all to heck. I went on Amazon and immediately bought another defender case. I didn’t think I would like the divot in the side for the action button, but I actually like how my thumb fits in it (I have my action button off, not sure if it’s annoying when turned on). The feel of the case is grippy, but not an uncomfortable grippy. Overall a very good purchase! ... show more
