This OtterBox feels solid. The weight is double some of the other OtterBoxes. There is a raised ridge around the back camera lenses to provide extra protection for them. And solid rubber doors close-off access to the silence switch and charging port to prevent lint and debris from interfering with the lightning charging connection. However, the instructions that come with the OtterBox are worthless. There are very good instruction videos on YouTube that will help you install your iPhone in the OtterBox without damaging your phone. Had to purchase a separate screen protector. And even have issues with that. Otter boxes are a great product, all my other phones came with complete protection. Case and screen. Must just be the way vendors get you to buy additional materials. I prefer one stop shop with complete kit.
