I love the security and usability of this new “otter box defender XT” series!!! It’s magnet works just as strong as the phone does without, it may be tough to get it in, which is what I love most about this thing, but I know this thing is going to take great care of my $1,100 investment 🙏… I’ve never seen an otterbox that has one plastic case and one rubber shield, it’s always been the “snap the two in and then put the rubber case around the whole thing”. Now you place the phone in there and try to work the pretty slim plastic piece to encase into the rubber outside shell. It’s pretty tough without some pointy tools but very well worth it!!! Just wish it came with the holster like all the other defender series I’ve ever gotten 😞. Ohh well I’ll prob be purchasing one of those things too and leave another awesome review like this one lol!! ... show more

Fits well, not too bulky. Easy to get in and out of my pockets. My only complaint is that the protection for the camera lenses protrudes out the back of the case, with nothing to balance it. So when the phone is on a table, it rocks back and forth when I touch the screen. There is no obvious cushioning inside, but it’s “rated” for more drops. Who knows, I haven’t dropped it yet and I don’t plan on it. ... show more

Overall I still really do like this case, however when the 13 pro came out this case was 80$ and it lasted almost 18 months, the plastic border plate finally cracked to where phone would no longer set. But this new version lasted maybe one month— the back spiderweb- shattered in two places.
