    • Slightly bulky but worth it
I’m not one for bulky cases; I’d rather have just the phone if possible, but I keep getting thin cases so there’s a bit of protection. HOWEVER! There’s a trade off I’ve noticed (because of course there is) in how bulky a case is and how much protection it provides. After paying off my phone and having my one-year-old BITE THROUGH MY OLD CASE, I feel more obligated to protect it, so I got this case on sale and I don’t regret it at all. It’s slightly bulky, but not as bulky as I expected when I think of “OtterBox”. It’s relatively easy to grip, and even though I’ve dropped it a few times (unrelated to the grip), it’s come away unscathed. The little cover to get to the charging port can be slightly annoying to open but there’s a tech niche you’ll get used to that makes it less of a bother. Hard to describe, but I promise you’ll get it down easily enough. All in all, this was a worthy investment in keeping my ovine a bit more baby-proof (and drop proof, of course). ... show more

It fits the phone nice but my belt clip that I just bought doesn’t work. It seems to large. They both are Otterbox Defender series.

After a couple of years with the regular Defender case and having to find the sweet spot every night for it to wirelessly charge my phone, I took a chance on this with the matched wireless charging pad. It works great together with the charging pad. No more hunting for the sweet spot then waking up to an uncharged phone because it decided the connection wasn't close enough. Case is sturdy, durable and shockproof as you’d expect from otterbox. My gripe comes in that there are 2 versions of the Defender and only THIS one is compatible with MagSafe. I bought the old version first being completely used to getting it with all my phones. But I totally forgot MagSafe and I wonder why they make 2 versions of the Defender for the same phone. ... show more

otter box is my got to for phone cases. This steps it up by adding mag safe with their usual all around protection.
