I had my last OtterBox Defender for my IPhone 13 for 5 years as a maintenance technician where it was dropped many times and exposed to several environments and it just started to fall apart. The new defender fit perfectly, and I expect it to hold up and protect my phone just as well.

The case works fine, but had to find a YouTube video to figure out how to install the iPhone into the case; there are 3 components to the case which had to be separated in order to install the phone. I had an Ottorbox case with the belt attachment years ago when I had my iPhone 4. Because the Ottorbox case was a little pricey at $50+, I tried to find something lass expense when I got my next iPhone. I tried a variety of cases with a belt attachment over the years since but none were as sturdy and fit as securely to my belt as the Ottorbox. This particular Ottorbox is about half the price as my original one years ago. It doesn’t have screen protection which I was able to add for less than $10. The sides and back are the same secure protection Otterboxes are known for. If you want iPhone protection with a secure tight fit to your belt this is the one to get. ... show more

Great case for my iphone. I always stick with Otterbox for protection and function. This case is much better than my last Otterbox because it has some grip/tack to it making it easier to grab and prob up on surfaces without sliding. I love that it comes with a holster in case I don't want to carry it in my pocket or want to use it as a stand. Otterbox has been awesome in providing support with it's products. I feel this is a good value for what you get. It seems strong, durable, and not too thick. The inner plastic frame was a liittle tricky at 1st opening up but installation was straightforward after that.
