I’ve had this on my phone since June and it has not cracked. The material allows me to put a sticker on it with my identification stuff on it and the sticker comes off easily. I like the color and it fits the phone.

I had the Otterbox Defender case on my older iphoneX but my wife went with the Otterbox Commuter. We both recently upgrade to the iphone 13 and she chose the Commuter again and I figured I'd give the Commuter a try also. Bad decision! While the Commuter case is nice, the majority of the outside surface is plastic which is smoother and I simply could not ignore the lack of grippiness. I lean it against something and it slides off. I set it on my leg and it slides off my pants. Stuff like that. So I returned the Commuter and got another Defender. NOW WE'RE TALKIN'!!!! I'd say the Defender case is the same size as the Commuter but has a more rubbery/grippy feel and putting it on my 13 reminded me exactly why i loved the one i had on my 10. My wife held it and tried out some habits and agreed. She just returned her new Commuter case and ordered a Defender also. 💥DEFENDER FOR THE WIN!!!💥 ... show more

I have used otterboxes on every phone I have had and they all look close to new when I upgrade. I have had plenty of drops with no damage. Luckily nothing has hit the screen directly when dropped. The first thing that seems to wear on these are the charge port covers. They do see frequent use so this expected but they wear far before the actual case even starts to. The area around the camera seem to get loose prior to anything else (all of mine have). Either way these have always protected my phones long enough to feel like the cost of the case was justified before needing to buy another. ... show more

So first thing I should mention is that it clearly says that it is screen less and does not come with belt clip, which in my opinion isn’t a deal breaker, most of the bad reviews revolve around these issues but if you look closely and read the description it tells you everything you need to know. Other than that. It is a nice clean feeling case. I had other otter boxes and will say this one is quality. Feels nice in the hand, and pleasing to the eyes.
