Just when I didn’t think I was going to find an Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone 8 Plus lo & behold I did find one!!! And I actually didn’t have to go with basic black. My husband has been on me for a couple of years to replace my original from 2017 but why fix what’s not broken, just scratched up? Well…I finally have now & I’m thrilled! I got purple/orchid which I love! Just as awesome was vendor getting to me so quickly!!! I elected to pay for express shipping but Amazon still said it wouldn’t deliver until February 27-28 but I received today in new, perfect condition-yippeee!!! Also, especially very reasonably priced considering it was about $25 for the real deal Otterbox vs. knockoffs for $15, thank you! Thank you! Now it looks like a brand new phone😁

I bought a case for both my husband and I when we bought our iPhone 8 pluses. The case fits on the phone nice and snug, and the touch screen still works flawlessly through the screen protector. I have not dropped my phone, but this is thick and substantial enough that I believe it will protect the delicate glass phone. The only reason I took off a star is that dirt and debris can get under the screen protector from the ear opening. Since we both use our phones for work, we carry them in our pockets. Lint gets in there and makes the phone look dirty. However, you can open the case and clean the phone but, I can see the snaps that hold the pieces together weakening if you open it up frequently. The only other thing I didn't like (not performance related) was that the dark purple one was around $20 more than the plain black one my husband got. Same Otterbox, just a more feminine color. Overall, I do like this case and am happy with my purchase.

Easy to install; keeps phone intact even though it falls a lot. Wasn't impressed with the extra plastic screen. Decreases some of the touch sensitivity. Cut it out; all is good. Perfect fit for the phone.
