Costs more than a cheapie phone protector but this is the protector for those who abuse their phones. I have dropped my Galaxy S22 Ultra many times, sometimes on concrete and never any damage. Makes the phone a little bigger, but way better than buying a new one. I had an LG top of the line slip from my nitestand into the wastebasket and it broke. Loss of $509 just like that. So better to have good protection. The case has a good feel and grip so it is less likely to fall than just holding the phone.

I've purchased Otterbox cases for some of my phones I've had in the past and went with a different brand for my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G about a year ago now, the phone case wasn't bad but it had its issues with easy wear and tear from use and taking it apart for cleaning. It was only a matter of time that I decided to get a different case and the Defender Otterbox case for my phone was the best choice; it's durable, light-weight, wireless charger compatible, and very comfortable to hold in your hands.

Otterbox Defender is the only case I will use. I have had them for other phones that have been accidently dropped on dirt, concrete, ceramic tile, and just about everything else. Phones have never had any damage while in a Defender case.

It's a tight perfect fit and the quality is solid like a rock. The one thing is that it's several pushes to turn phone off or to take a picture. But I never give up.
