This is my first review as an Amazon Customer. I purchased this Laptop Backup with the intention of replacing the "Evecase 17-17.3 Inch Laptop Messenger Bag." After exceeding 20 lbs with the laptop messenger bag, I slowly accumulated quite a bit of tension in my shoulders subsequently to my first week of college. As a first-time Freshman, I could not bear this pain for another four-to-five years, so I immediately scouted for an affordable backpack with plenty of cargo space. After a bit of extensive research, I decided to go with the "FreeBiz 18.4 Inches Laptop Backpack." The price, aesthetics, and overall size caught my eye. Not only would it fit my gaming laptop (ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH71), but it could also accommodate my Notebooks, Dividers, Ethernet Cat5 Cables, both my TI-Nspire CX CAS and TI-89 Titanium Calculators, and various other peripherals. To my surprise, there's still plenty of room for much, much more, which was precisely my reason for buying the 18.4" Backpack rather than the size intended for 17.3" Laptops. The weight distribution was PERFECT after some adjustment with the straps over the upper-torso. As for the Hip Belt, I probably won't be using it, unless I have to take extensive hikes around trails or go biking with friends. Overall, this laptop backpack is a spectacular work of art and is perfectly capable of allowing me to get from Point A to Point B all over campus. After I put a few weeks worth of mileage into this backpack, a few friends of mine will be buying the same item ^-^

Gaming Laptop Compatible: I bought a new Alienware 15 R3 in November 2016. I searched high and low for a traveler's bag that could fit the unit. It's not particularly thick or long, but it is 12.5 inches deep. Even the big bags that advertised 17.5 inch laptops couldn't fit the unit. I found this bag on amazon and per the reviews it looked like a good buy. Well, it arrived and all I have to say is that this backpack IS the bag you're looking for. It fits my unit with several inches to spare on all sides. Directly in front of the laptop sleeve there are two elastic sleeves that fit my 240 watt monster of a PSU with room to spare. There are several small interior and exterior pockets for putting in accessories. Traveler Compatible: I may have only owned the bag for a few days, but I've already traveled with it. I like to travel as light as possible. This bag suits my needs, allowing me to carry one article of luggage with all of my personal effects inside. The main compartment offers space for clothes, while the side, front, and auxiliary compartments store every day necessities and toiletries. Quality: As far as build quality, It is rigid and feels stronger than other backpacks of its class. It has a good amount of airflow on the back pad so you don't get too hot. The straps absorb shock. This makes it comfortable to walk with all that weight. If I had one complaint about the bag, it would be that it is not TSA friendly. You will have to pull your laptop out to get by security.

I've been using this bag for months now and I can honestly say this is the best laptop back I have used for the price. It is very durable and will carry a lot of weight. I currently carry a 17 inch laptop and a 15 inch laptop in the padded pocket designed for laptops. I carry all of my laptop accessories to include a full ergonomic keyboard, two power supplies, a coffee thermos, cables, folding headphones, mini Bluetooth keyboard, pens, clipboard, Gunner eye glasses, my large contact solution bottle, knife, scissors, pretty much my entire desk absent the monitors and I still have plenty of room. This back beats the pants off of other well known laptop bags. The shoulder straps provide the appropriate amount of cushion for longer hauls and are reinforced, sewn well, and I expect they will not fray or come apart easily. The carrying handle is also reinforced with a metal cable, very sturdy. Thick nylon construction makes this bag durable and semi water resistant to light rain for a short period of time. The laptop compartment is the entire width and height of the bag with padding throughout. You will not feel the laptop through bag while this is on your back nor will your laptop strike the surface if you set it down a little too hard. Adjustable straps on the side so you can manage the weight distribution and the shifting of contents to stay closer to your body. I even took this thing camping because I trusted it so well. I highly recommend this bag.

I bought this laptop for my new Asus ROG G751 JT laptop. I was having trouble finding a large bag to fit it at a decent price. Even though this bag looks like it might be kind of sketchy it's turned out great. It has plenty of room to fit my laptop and the peripherals I use with it. The padding on it is pretty decent for protecting your gear but could be better. The other problem I have is the top of the shoulder straps are as comfortable as I would like. Pros: large with plenty of space. Decent colors and good design. Plenty of pockets Cons: not as much padding as I would like to protect electronics and top of shoulder straps. Mediocre zippers. The short of it: Decent bag for a good price. Definitely a good deal if you need a large laptop bag with decent features that won't break the bank. Here are a few pics to show size and the padding.

OMG! POCKETS! POCKETS! EVERYWHERE! I was going to make a video showing off all the space and pockets but it would probably be an hour long. Ok, I exaggerate but seriously this is a serious bag for a great price. Too many little extras to list but a few are the handle will carry anything you put in it with its strap designed perfectly (almost over the top, not sure what they expected ppl to put in this thing lol) and pockets are a plenty yes but they are arranged in an intelligent and useful way...not just everywhere they could put them. If you're in the market for a backpack or laptop bag I highly encourage you to give this one a try. I've been thru 4 coming off of a Swiss Gear bag that I had for about 7 years and I can tell you now this bag will easily be around longer than that based off the engineering I've seen in it.

Okay, trying to get better about leaving reviews for products, as there seem to be too many questionable reviews, and I've previously purchased 2 backpacks that said they'd hold a 17.3" gaming laptop, that DIDN'T hold mine. So I thought on items like this that work, if we all left info (with specifics, i.e. the exact laptop) that would help others on the fence with the same laptop decide if it was the right product. Received it today, and AMEN, my MSI GT72 Dominator actually fit in there as it was supposed to, with room to spare. No tightness at all, but not too loose such that I'm worried about it moving about in transit, still LOTS of room left for the monster power brick (if you own a Dominator, you know what I'm talking about) and other appropriate paraphernalia (mice, external hard drives, power banks, ipad, other tech goodies you need as well, etc.). It looks and feels very durable (will update this review specifically to those ends after I get some mileage on it), so am giving it 5's for now. (If this review is months old, and still at 5... it's held up well to travel!) I especially liked the built in USB power to get charging outside the pack. Typically you see a hole (that you may or may not be able to actually get a cable through), but in this case they have a built in cable (about 12" of cable inside the backpack) with the plug end on the outside in a dedicated hard plastic protective shell. I can see easily charging a phone/ipad while traveling while keeping your bag zipped and secure, just attaching your usb cable to this dedicated "dongle". Overall, I'm VERY happy with this purchase (almost didn't make it because I've already been burned twice), so if you have a large gaming laptop (MSI GT72 specifically), feel confident this bag has ample space for you.

I needed a big backpack with laptop compartment , i wanted a regular bag and not really a travel bag, i use it when travelling every two weeks where i only need to carry my laptop and electronics and i needed a bag with enough space for those plus a jacket and maybe some more stuff and this bag is perfect. it has enough pockets and is big enough for my needs. i couldn't find a big laptop bag as this one accept for another bag from the same company. overall its a good bag and the quality looks ok. i would suggest to buy it only if you need a big laptop bag with space for much more then just a day commute. it has a disadvantage comparing to another laptop bag i have that it is not steady when put on the ground, and it doesn't keep its shape when its not full, it kind of collapses. but again, the biggest advantage of this bag is that its biiig :)

At first glance the bag was pretty fantastic. It seems durable, it definitely fits my ASUS G752, it has plenty of room for other peripherals as well as a tablet and all charging accessories, a couple books, etc. It seemed perfect for traveling, which was my intended purpose for the purchase. However, while it's good for fitting everything, looks nice and doesn't attract attention, has plenty of compartments (I absolutely adore the four individual side pockets and the hanging flap for phone/headphones/misc in the middle compartment), it does have some flaws. A precursor to the rest of this: this is my experience personally as a 5'4" woman traveling over the course of 32 hours. The straps were killer on my neck. Not in regards to weight, but the edges of the straps at the point where they sat on my shoulders just constantly rubbed against my neck and were very rough. Whenever I was able to set it down either pre-boarding or while on the plane was an enormous relief. This could've been alleviated by wearing a scarf, maybe? There isn't much cushion in the straps either. Now, in regards to weight, the bag does have pretty good support. It never felt too heavy as long as I kept the buckle around my waist. And in regards to size, it was decent as a personal item on the airplane and though it was a tight fit it did fit under the seat in front of me. Now, all of the above was mostly manageable and primarily related to my personal use and experience with the bag. But, the biggest and most glaring negative portion of my experience with this bag was when one of straps broke while taking it off. The stitching failed at the base of the right shoulder strap while I was removing it in a restroom in a Tokyo airport, roughly 23 hours into my travels. Fortunately I was able to mend it with a knot but to say that I'm unhappy with the purchase is a bit of an understatement. The knot held for the remainder of my trip and I haven't had to use the bag much while staying in the hotel. After getting settled into my hotel in my final destination I began the processing for a return, however I will be using the bag for my return trip in roughly 3 weeks. Fortunately Amazon allows a sizable window for returns. Overall the bag met most of my expectations. If you need a pretty good quality bag for lugging an enormous laptop around locally or on short trips and you don't need to carry too much else then I can see this as being a pretty solid option. However, if you plan on taking additional things in the bag along with the laptop and plan to travel longer distances I'd recommend shopping around a bit more or being sure to be more delicate with your handling of the bag. Speaking of which, the fall was fortunately minor and the bag managed to protect everything inside in its entirety. Once again a disclaimer that this is entirely related to my personal experience with the bag so please take it with a grain of salt and be sure to read into other reviews as well!
