This was the screen protector that Verizon recommended and sold to me for my new Pixel 6. It was twice the AMZ cost from VZ, so first lesson - don't buy any peripherals from VZ unless you like getting taken. I've applied lots of screen protectors, live by them, but this was the worst. Many manufacturers put their instructions on YouTube, so you watch the video and copy the actions, simple. This OtterBox protector has a 2" x 2.5" instruction booklet that was very difficult to read, all 15 steps. The required alcohol swipe and the dust dabber were NOT included. Really? $40 and you don't include the alcohol swab or the dust dab???? The kit also includes a rubber pad that you stick to the table to hold the phone in place while working. Well, the Pixel 6 has a raised camera on the back, so the rubber slips off the top and goes down to the camera, so it does not hold the phone in place as illustrated in the booklet. They include a ridiculous little plastic piece to plug into the charging slot on the bottom of the Pixel 6, so you can apply your screen protector hands-free. The plastic piece does not fit in the bottom of the Pixel . so throw that away and hold the phone in your hands to put on the protector, as you read the tiny 15 steps, 12 of which no longer apply, because the included rubber pad and plastic holder are obsolete. End result.... LOTS of bubbles, which I am smoothing out... while waiting for my replacement screen protector to arrive, a better one I hope. Yes, the fingerprint sensor still works. But this was the most byzantine set of application instructions, at the least value, that I have ever encountered. ... show more

I cannot believe that Otterbox allows their name to be associated with this piece of crap. You should believe every negative review there is to read about this so called screen protector. I wish I could rate this thing below zero. Absolutely worthless installation instructions ruined it before it ever got close being installed. ... show more

As a millennial that has installed countless screen protectors, most without any sort of guidance tool, I feel qualified enough to install new protectors without much difficulty. As other reviews have stated, and I cannot emphasize enough, this is the worst to install. It is unlike the 99.9% of protectors you're used to using. It's counterintuitive, inefficient, and is likely missing all of the "helpful" tools you need. Mine had the wipe and sticker, but not the foam bar to stick to the table. The instructions are 15 steps long and make no sense. You will get frustrated. You will try to wing it, and then you will realize it's flimsy and impossible to put on without bubbles and dirt. I want to rip it off my phone and burn it (honestly it would probably melt and find one more way to hurt me), but alas, I am stuck with it until a different brand arrives. The bubbles are ocd torture. Run, don't walk, away from this. ... show more

    • Incredibly Dumb Installation Process and Instructions
I bought this straight from the Google Store since I wanted to set a screen protector asap. From the official store, I thought it'd be a good product. As part of the instructions, you're meant to align the screen protector with the phone using the guides. Good luck doing this when you are told to remove the protective layer #1, which has the inside film that you peel back as you install. That inside film has a sticky edge and will mess the installation up. I don't understand why they decided to make this process so complicated with so many layers. ... show more

    • WORST SCREEN PROTECTOR I'VE EVER HAD
Near impossible to install, came with a dent, and no refund policy. The language of the person who wrote the instructions could not have been English because it was so confusing. I read all the time and I could not figure out what these instructions were trying to tell me. Horrible
