I bought this phone protector because it didn't have too much of the rubber siding like my last one. This part starting to rip and fall off. Plus it was a sleeker design compared to my last phone protector, so it fit in my pocket easier. The only downside is that it doesn't have as much friction to hold onto or to prevent it from potentially sliding on slick surfaces. I can foresee that the rubber flap over the plug in port, where you charge the phone, will eventually rip off just like my last Otterbox phone protector as well (1-2 years of use). For the price I paid though it does a good job of protecting it as far as I can tell (initial thoughts). I haven't dropped it yet (fortunately), but when I do I'll know for sure how well it's designed to protect the phone. ... show more

Had the more cumbersome otter box before and it was great so I got this one and didn’t realize that it wasn’t the interlocking case that it just fit over the back of the photo but I do like this one better not as clunky and when I dropped my phone still great protection would recommend
