Have had this literally less than a week. Haven’t dropped the phone, hasn’t been abused. Was totally fine until I pulled it out of pocket 10 mins ago and the protector is busted. I’ve ordered this cover twice. Both times, the screen protector has cracked on the first drop. The first screen, I continued to use for six months even though the crack spread and got worse with every drop. I replaced it with the same one and again, first drop and my screen is cracked. Previously I had a screen protector that was half this cost and not name brand, it never cracked once. I only ordered this because my boyfriend recommended it, he’s a quality brand kind of buy (even though his screen is cracked too...) Just save your money and buy a cheap one because this expensive one is going to crack anyway so why spend the extra money. ... show more

Once I realized Otterbox makes a screen protector I had to get it. Though it is pricey, it's worthy it. The screen protector was easy to install, especially with the guide. However, there were some bubbles that refused to go away. I followed the instructions "press the screen, pushing bubbles to edge." My vape was sitting next to my phone on the bed. The vape fell over slowly and hit the edge of the protector and shattered it. This is the ONLY time I’ve never had something hit my phone as I take extremely good care of it. I tested it after that - that’s why there are two points of contact. Very disappointing to spend a bunch of money on one protector just to have it crumble with a light tap. Bought spigen brand for $12 and got two protectors. Well, I bought this primarily to help prevent scratches on my new phone but am very pleasantly surprised to share the following with you. I inadvertently knocked my phone off my nightstand and, while it didn’t fall far, it hit the floor with quite a bit of force. I was really disappointed to see what I thought was a shattered iPhone screen. Imagine my surprise & delight when I discovered it was the Alpha Glass itself that shattered and not my phone’s screen! I’ve had a screen protector for over a year and it’s done fabulous. I dropped my phone two days ago on sharp gravel in the driveway and it cracked the screen. When I remove the protector the phones actual screen was still in perfect shape. This was worth every damn penny. I don’t care what the other reviewers say, it saved my phone.
