Definitely military grade protection. I travel a bit and need it to be safe in a cramped and packed book bag. The power connection is heavily protected and it’s annoying to get a cable into it. I’m gonna cut that flap off eventually. The volume buttons are difficult to use. This will turn most people off. Also it is a lot heavier with all the protection. The media could not be loaded. I feel like I’ve waited a long time for it to get here. And when it got here today, I was so excited to put this on my iPad!!! Only for me to then notice a problem when feeling it against my fingers while holding it. This is not flush against the iPad, as you can see, this forms a hammock/pocket along one of the sides.
