  • Best value on Amazon - Thanks Oscar and Amazon
I bought this as a "USED" item for $65.00. Best value on Amazon. This guitar is beautiful and plays nicely. Good action, decent sound with the factory strings. It came with a cheap gig bag, tuner, and extra strings Not a mark on the guitar, could not be differentiated from NEW. I am a 50+ years player with a fine collection of vintage as well as some new guitars. This one fits right in and looks great in between my Red Gibson SG and my Blue Epiphone Les Paul. I had been looking for a white player to create my Red, White and Blue section in my music room. Great value and makes me feel good to just look at it. Thanks Oscar and Amazon ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Engineered Wood Fretboard Color: White
I was having some financial hardships a few years ago and had to sell my guitar. It was this exact model and exact guitar. Fortunately I was able to repurchase this same guitar from here and it arrived quicker than expected, it’s an absolutely amazing guitar. There’s a reason that years later I purchased it again! The company that had it posted is actually from MO, which is where I’m from, so I thought that was pretty cool. Great service, arrived in good condition, works great. ... show more

  • Nice low priced guitar
Style: Rosewood Fretboard Color: Black
I just got this guitar and am pretty impressed by it. It's not an overly loud guitar if you strum hard, but if you don't need a huge amount of volume it's pretty nice. It's has what I would call a bright sound. More midrange, less base, a little more twang. It's fairly easy to play with low action. It almost begs to be finger picked. If you need to play for other than a small group, then get one with an electric pickup. They are still quite reasonable. If you have the extra money, then a Washburn wd10 would probably be a little better. This is a Washburn made for Schmidt, and they may have cut a few corners but it's solid, plays nice, sounds nice, and stays in tune. ... show more

  • Oh happy day
Style: Engineered Wood Fretboard Color: Black
I was browsing, being in the market for a new (another) lower end daily driver/boat acoustic. Also, I didn't have a black one yet. This thing popped up at an unbelievable low price that I don't even want to say, for fear that it was a mistake and it will get taken away! I pulled the trigger, I had to. Well, I'm blown away. Beautiful in black. The pickguard is a deep, bright red with marbling. Very nice inlays and binding. Nice compensated saddle. Great sound! Light, but not fragile feeling. I really can't believe I got this for less than a Rogue RA 090, which is a total piece of garbage. This guitar is nicer than my Epiphone DR100 also.Quality seems on par with my Fender CD-60. It's all I can do to not order a blue one. ... show more

  • One of the best budget guitars available
Style: Engineered Wood Fretboard Color: Natural
Very good acoustic for under $100. Better looking and playing than most budget guitars. No sharp fret ends, almost perfect finish, like the feel and shape of the neck. Not amazing sounding but acceptable. Just needed a slight truss rod adjustment and tuned it. Have purchased three Oscar Schmidt acoustics and all have been fantastic for the cost. ... show more

  • Red guitar
Style: Engineered Wood Fretboard Color: Transparent Red
This guitar is better quality than I expected for the cost. The red finish is like a candy apple and it so pretty. I just hope my grandson takes good care of it.

  • Great Guitar
I do not usually write these reviews but this guitar was such a great value for the price I thought I needed to write a review for others who are looking at it. The sound is beautiful, good middle and good high end - very level across the tonal range. Action is great and relatively easy on the fingertips for an acoustic guitar. I do not own a very high-end expensive acoustic guitar but I have owned several good affordable acoustics and this one blows them away. ... show more

  • Oscar Schmidt OG2B Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
Style: Rosewood Fretboard Color: Black
This guitar is pretty much as expected, with the exception of the pick guard. It is shown with a tortoise shell pick guard, which really stands out and looks nice against the black body in the pictured image; however, it in fact has a common black pick guard. Kind of a disappointment, since the appearance of the guitar in the image is a large part of why I chose this one. (I will have the pick guard changed out by my local tech.)Also, I will need to get better strings put on it. It seems well constructed, but it does have a slight chemical odor about it, likely from the paint or lacquer-maybe the glue. The sound leaves a little bit to be desired, but I am convinced it will be much better with new strings. Great beginner guitar. ... show more
