I recently looked at several headsets to pair with my XBox Series|X. I don’t game as much as I use to and did not want to spend unnecessary money on the Turtle Beach brand I used to purchase. I decided to try these based on its reviews and honestly the difference is very minute compared to bigger names in my opinion for the average gamer. I play a lot of first person shooters (COD, Battlefield etc.) which enhances gameplay with the ability to communicate with teams or clans. I find this headset is perfect for that. I can’t speak to other games but I’m happy with this purchase for my specific use case scenario. I would recommend this headset to the novice to moderate gamers. You get what you pay for tbh. Its a great price but the quality of the product is not that great. The mic works! But the long cord can get caught up and cause static that other people can hear. Sometimes when I move it starts making that sound and its very uncomfortable to hear on both ends. There are definitely better headsets out there but I got this one because it was cheap. Bought these for my son, who is notoriously hard on his headphones. He’s also hard to fit and these are a great size. The light up function is neat, and it’s nice that it’s connected through a separate USB, so it’s optional. Hoping these last awhile, but so far, so good!
