Zero experience. Watched some YouTube, thought it looked cool, clicked buy. Machine showed up assembled. Lined up a photo with the camera, hit engrave. Five minutes later holding an aluminum portrait that looked professional. My friend who actually does engraving said "not bad." That's a win in my book.

Aluminum frame feels proper, not some flimsy stamped metal. Acrylic panels are thick, no flex when the lid's open. I can actually have a conversation in the same room while it's engraving.For a machine at this price point, the fit and finish is honestly better than I expected.

No garage, no workshop. I run this thing on my desk in the living room. Class 1 cert means lid shut = no laser leak, period. Came pre-assembled too — unbox, plug in, done. 470×400×214mm, about microwave-sized, 8.4kg stays put. Solid packaging, arrived perfect.
