It was made with good material and gave good support but I made a mistake of ordering the size that was the high end of the description on the size. It popped off from time to time when I bend over. It did help with my back pain for standing up for a long period of time.

This is a very sturdy, well made back brace for heavy lifting or to help during healing or preventing injury. The two rigid metal supports in the middle are removable, while the two on the end are more flexible. There is also a removable pad in the back. All of these things are great for customizing the level of support you need. I would suggest that if you’re on the cusp of a size, size up. It’s easy to tighten if it’s a little large, but the belt as a whole does not stretch much, and you don’t want it TOO tight. I don’t foresee any problems with longevity as all the stitching is excellent. High quality back brace!

This is a wonderful back brace on all counts. It is made of a rather thick and luxurious material that makes it seem like a piece of clothing rather than a medical apparatus. This also may make it a little heavier than other back braces. I ordered the size recommended for my waist size on their Amazon page and it fit with a generous amount of overlap, which I like. Better a foot too long than an inch too short. The straps on either side go beyond the middle of the belt in back, but they do not interfere with each other. The two strands of one side strap are both in the middle of the belt and the two of the other side strap are one near the top and one near the bottom. Somebody was thinking and did things right. There is also a large square pad that you can Velcro in at the back of the belt if you want more pressure on your spine. I usually don't use the pads that come with back braces, because they usually press into my back too much. This pad is large enough that it distributes the added pressure over a larger area and I may find it desirable on occasion. And something subtle but important: the straps are made of the same material as the belt and the Velcro of the ends of the belt and the ends of the straps can attach to any part of the belt or straps. This solves a problem I have had with other belts where I wanted to pull the straps to overlap with each other, but I couldn't, because the straps were made of a material that the Velcro end would not stick to. Well designed and well built.

It applies support/pressure where needed and can be worn for long periods of time. I've been using it more and more and for me, it just works. Last time was for yard work and moving and I did not have the typical lower back pain. Yay! Only thing I found was it can get a bit hot while wearing. As you would expect, this is especially true when doing things like I mentioned; yard work.

My husband wore out the Velcro on his old back brace so I got him this as a replacement. This is considerably wider than other back braces I have ordered in the past and offers a lot of support. The support stays are removable which is nice if you want to adjust the rigidity, however the stays also tend to slide out easily which is the only con we have found so far. The construction of this brace is excellent and everything feels very sturdy. My husband says it really offers relief from pain when his back is acting up. Because the brace is so wide my husband says he doesn’t have to tighten it as much to get the same amount of relief. So far we are very happy with this brace.

This back brace has multiple things going for it and no real negatives that I can think of: PROs - Well-made, premium materials, multiple Velcro points for customizability, large footprint to cover extended back area, comfortable, tight compression and it has breathable fabric. CONs - None that come to mind Overall, this support brace does a great job at providing lower back relief over a wide area as it can dial up the compression levels based on how tightly the Velcros are strapped in.
