I originally picked up this BolaButty Bluetooth speaker for my wife to use at work during in house meetings so she could easily connect and play audio. The installation was basically nonexistent, just pair it and go, which made setup super quick. For its size, this thing puts out some serious power. The sound quality is surprisingly strong and clear, easily filling a room without sounding tinny. It handled presentations really well and made everything more professional. The controls are simple and easy to use, which is great when you don’t want to fumble around mid meeting. Overall functionality is exactly what you’d want from a portable speaker, reliable and straightforward. Now here’s the part that says it all. Someone liked it so much they decided to permanently “borrow” it from her desk. So I ended up buying a second one. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. I love this Ortizan Portable Bluetooth Speaker! It is shorter than a bottle of water and a smaller around than a cozy cup. It is IPX7 Waterproof. I take in the shower, on the beach and on the boat! It's a portable party with 360°sound and the RGB lights. You can play your beats, jams, or tunes! It has a EQ Switch too. Type C port for charging. It was a good gift to myself!     • External Speakers Aren't Built to Last

This is a more comprehensive review. Originally, I purchased three portable, external speakers none of which worked with my devices. And, after reading a bunch of different reviews I learned that these portable, external speakers often do not work after 6 months and are not reliable. So I then purchased 6 speakers ranging in price from $19.98 to $119 to find one that would actually pair with and amplify my devices. In other words, I purchased 6 speaker to find one that worked. Of the 6 speakers, only one worked with my devices when all the speakers were supposed to work with all my devices!!! After leaving a review about my experiences with speakers (I ended up having to purchase 9 speakers to get one that worked. Only one company reached out to me to try and make my purchasing experience good…Ortizan-Direct. They sent me their most current speaker: X8. The X7 ranges on Amazon from $39-$59. Currently, it is $53.99 at https://a.co/d/0it3NgJw. But the X8 has an impressive sound and, it works perfectly with my iPhone and my MAC Air. I do not know if the X8 is on Amazon yet however, my experience is such I am using this Ortizan X8 over the one speaker I kept because the sound is so much better. For years, I have been a loyal Anker Soundcore patron however, after my recent experience with Anker especially their customer service, I will never purchase anything from them again. I am endorsing the X8 I received because: 1. It worked immediately on my iPhone as well as my MAC Air. 2. The sound is impressive, including a rich base and balanced sound. 3. Customer Service with Ortizan-Direct has been exceptional. I have been considerate, highly responsive and, they made good on their desire to have purchasing experience a fulfilling one.
