Okay, it came with 2 large lumps in the middle all the way down the mattress pad. I read the reviews and layed it out on a tile floor and walked on it,then I rolled it up and squeezed the large lumps. Nothing helped so the mattress pad would lie flat. I then made the the bed anyway and hope it filters down into the pad by the Christmas so when my daughter and her husband come it isn't an awkward sleep. If not, I will just throw it away and go buy something in a store. Now it's Nov. 18 and the lumps still haven't receded. Now it's in the trash.

Best to lie it flat on the floor or hard surface and walk around on it for a while to work out the creases. It's very comfortable and supportive. I get hot, so it could be cooler.

I didn't have any problems with how the mattress was made or the apperance. Came well packed and inflated as expected. It's a little firmer than I like. It may have more of the gel characteristics than the foam.

I followed all of directions and even gave it extra time to relax and it still hasn’t flattened out. I have had it a few months and there’s still a bump in the middle. I wish I would have spent the extra money on a Temperpedic topper as I have one of those and I love it.

I ordered the mattress topper and left it out for 3 days. Did not inflate to 3 inches at all. It is not the size of a king size bed. I did order a replacement and i just hope that it arrives the way it’s supposed.it has the potential to be nice but i just need it to inflate.

The media could not be loaded. Very nice and comfortable foam mattress topper. It stays very nice and cool to the touch, which has been a great thing throughout this super hot summer we faced this year. Unpacking it, it didn't take long at all for it take shape. It went up in about 1 hour full, my granddaughter says is very comfortable, since her mattress was a little too hard for her. On top of that, there was no uncomfortable smell that it came packaged with! The cover it comes with is fully removable, making it easy to keep clean and wash for those that might sweat, drool or younger kids that may have a little mishap.

I gave this item a 3-star because it kept sliding off the bed. My son’s dorm bed is a few inches higher than standard so my short son had a difficult time maintaining it on bed. It doesn’t contain straps to tie it down to mattress, so he chose to keep it off. Although, one of my other kids used it on the dorm hard floor durin a recent visit and he said it was extremely comfortable! Other than that comfort was great. Don’t know that the cooling gel made much difference.
