Description

Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter Refill2 kills common household bugs such as ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, millipedes, mosquitoes, moths, spiders, stink bugs, ticks, termites, periodical cicadas and more (as listed). This insect killer creates a bug barrier for up to 12 months protection against ants, roaches and spiders indoors on non-porous surfaces. In addition, the Invisi-Shield Technology formula gives off no fumes, dries clear and dries fast. Use this pest control product anytime as a preventative treatment or after you see evidence of insect activity for long lasting-control. Apply indoors in kitchens and bathrooms or around doors and windows, and outdoors to the foundation perimeters, patios, decks, garages and wherever insects are a recurring problem. For indoor surfaces, hold sprayer 12 inches from surface being sprayed and apply a 4-inch wide band, or use a 12-inch wide band when applying to a home perimeter. I've used this particular brand for years. I moved onto a house with a bunch of ants. Spiders started also, then other critters. This stuff is good. I spray inside perimeter n then outside perimeter. Then if needed I'll spray those areas. I usually can spray once in spring n sometimes in fall or winter. I didn't spray this year, we weren't having any problems until a few weeks ago. When I first used this, I sprayed a few different times throughout the year. But eventually I was able to use it less n less. It's like weed killer, it takes a bit at first. 😆 🤣 Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was relatively inexpensive, then I realized it worked well. I use this in my Camper as well as around the house. You have to be "diligent" with a schedule to use it. (Not just,1and done!) come back 15 days later to keep your application fresh and then 2 more after that. (You get a Gallon!!) The wand makes hard to reach places easier.

I use this every spring through fall as a perimeter spray to keep out spiders and other insects. I use it both outside along the home and garage and also inside parts of the home and it works great. If I do happen to find a spider or insect inside the house ,it is usually already dead. I applied it twice last year and it worked great. I ordered another refill for this season as soon as it warmed it for one day,the spider invasion started. But this put a quick stop to that. One bottle lasted me all last year with two interior and exterior perimeter applications with a few spot treatments and I still had a little bit left this year before buying another one. Works excellent and I'll continue to buy this. I do have a dog so when I spray inside , I do keep him out of the rooms for a few hours per the instructions and he has never had any problems. 100% recommend. ... show more
