I notice this relaxer did not burn and I think it was because it was recently manufactured, its expiration date over a year away.

I'm a white male and have never tried anything like this before. I initially bought one of those straightening combs but no temp setting would straighten my hair. My hair is about 3" long and EXTREMELY wavy and poofy and I wanted to straighten it. Followed the directions exactly (left in for 15 mins, will probably do 10 next time) The package includes everything you need except a plastic comb. Definitely will buy again in the future. Id suggest buying a plastic cap for when you have to leave the conditioner in for 20-30 mins after relaxing.

I have a lot of thick coarse hair. And was in need of something to tame it. This did the trick. I ironed my hair a few days before for a sleeker look and better roots.
