The jacket is everything that is advertised. The size is true to your normal size. Don't try to go up a size or it may be too big to take advantage of its warming availability. I really like the way it looks. My only warning about this jacket is that if you are taking it on vacation by plane it does not fold up small. You will need to drag it with you or have a smaller backpack or suitcase to put it in. So far, super great! I have only had this for 2 days. I am happy with the comfortable way it fits. I was looking for a quality jacket that wouldn't be restricting. I like to wear layers (shirt, sweatshirt then jacket) so I wanted a little bigger size, so this is an XL. It fits sleek, not bulky or like you are wearing a man's coat. I have not had a chance to test it in really cold weather or rain yet. (Thank goodness) I am always cold and it did great from home to work in 30° on medium heat. The hood was just right. I enjoyed wearing it on low, at work, in our office that is always frigid. So far well worth the money and depending on how it does when I go ATV trail riding in a few weeks, I may get another one as a gift to a friend. I did get an extra battery as backup. Ordered this for my wife...Product is nice, however is was definitely wore and then returned. The battery was not packaged in its box, it was in the coat, the jacket was balled up not folded in the bag, there was no tags on it and then when I put my hand into the pocket I pulled out a single serve of black pepper. Heat worked for 2 yrs with light wear. Never washed. Battery charges but heat does not work anymore. Very well made coat still keeps me warm.

    • Lose fit. Does not keep you significantly warmer than unheated jackets.

The jacket does warm well; however, I made the mistake of selecting a looser fit for movement and flexibility. The lose fit kept the warming cells away from my body, which in turn, did not keep me significantly warmer than my regular winter jackets. If I were to buy again, I would go for a fitted vest. I think that option would keep the warming cells closer to the skin, then layer with a jacket over to hold the heat in. I did purchase a vest as a gift for my MIL, and she absolutely loves it.
