  • Works well, nice pump
Nice pump and is adjustable for barrel height. Orion make good tools, and this is another.

  • Assembly is easy but be careful not to cross thread tubes.
Once assembled and installed the pump did its job transferring water at a good rate. Durability so far seems good and value is reasonable.

  • Cheap pump
It works but it might be the cheapest made hand pump that I've ever seen. The pickup pipe is likely the thinnest pipe that I've ever seen. It wouldn't take much to bend or break it. The filter at the bottom is made of plastic. The bung adapter feels like a very cheap pot metal and will likely strip the threads easily. The pump housing itself would have been a good design if it were made of a heavier gauge metal. I also don't expect the handle to last long due to the thin cheap feeling metal. The hose is also super short. If your looking for a cheap hand pump to get you by, this will do. If your looking for a pump to last a long time, look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Reliable and durable. A great deal for the price~!
We use Kerosene to heat our greenhouses when the weather gets below freezing. It dont happen alot in the south but it does happen. Kerosene is so expensive unless you buy it in quantity. This pump is perfect for filling cans. It has a telescoping suction tube suitable for all levels of fuel and all size barrells. 15-55 gal. Its plug and play. And once its primed it stays primed until the bottom of the barrel. Its simple to use and the hand crank turns effortlessly. Its sturdy and should last for years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED~! ... show more

  • Does its job
It does the job I bought it for. It does not leak from the housing as others have on me. I can’t say it’s made durable since it’s very thin metal and feels a bit cheaply made. It moves fluid fast and I can see it draining a 55gal drum easily before your arm gets tired. Very easy to assemble as well. Overall I’d say for around $30 it’s got a value you can’t beat. ... show more

  • Works good
This drum pump is a solid, heavy-duty tool. The hand crank is smooth and easy to use, and the aluminum alloy construction feels durable and well-made. Worked perfectly for transferring diesel from my 55-gallon drum without any spills or mess. The 39.4" discharge hose is a great length, and overall it makes fuel transfer much safer and easier. Definitely built to last. ... show more

  • Problematic out of the box, despite efforts.
I'm afraid this item was a disappointment. Two of the extensions were bent at the threads. was able to repair. Probably had a literal once of grease inside the pump. Had to deburr both the inlet and outlet of the pump to get it to turn smoothly. Took an unreasonable amount of RPM to prime with only one extension tube. Ultimately, did not function well after all expended efforts. ... show more
