I wish I didn’t need to write this review. I would think twice before dealing with Orion. I received this amp in faulty condition. It still worked but never was very loud. I troubleshooted this issue for over a year, and despite never playing very loud it blew 3 subwoofers. 2 of them Orion hcca’s at low volume. 1 kicker. After more than a year I finally came to the conclusion that something had to be wrong with the amp. Because I replaced every other single component at this point. I emailed Orion about this and they want me to send the amp to them so they can figure it out. Sounds great except they said that I would pay to ship it to them. Not ideal but fine. Then they would figure out the problem and fix it. Then they will hold my amp ransom till I pay them for the repairs and return shipping. An amp that I received faulty from them that I paid $700 for that has blown $1500 in subwoofers. They want me to pay to repair and ship both ways and if I send it and don’t pay for the repair they keep it. After explaining this to them in an email they simply just didn’t reply. I will never buy or deal with this company again and I highly advise everyone to do the same. It’s expensive equipment that they have only shown they don’t stand behind unfortunately.

I have bought 2 xtr2500.1dz amps. One went out and I had bought this 8000.1 to give me the power I need. Called Orion to get the other fixed and was told they do not have a warranty department to fix them. Thinking it was a misunderstanding I called back again and was told by someone else the same thing. Come to find out Orion was sold to another company last year. Now I spent $1500 on this amp and they telling me there is nothing they can do. I'm sending this back for a full refund and that is considered a breach of contract. Buyer beware. The number on the booklet is a soliciting number.

The amp did not work straight out of the Box it produced no sound or signal Then when I try to return the amp how is d*** you're impossible and that extended warranty you can buy that's about a joke I do not recommend buying any Car audio product from JB tools Seeing how's They are not an authorized dealer and And when they sell something new the manufacturer warranty ends And the extended warranty well they you have to really fight with those people to get to warranty something and They're warranty is b******* because It really just overlaps the manufacturers warranty that you would get with anyone else

Every time I order one of these Orion amplifiers they have come with manufacturers defects. I have an 8k that I found new on ebay and it had the same problem. I hope they get the bugs worked out soon. I purchased a Sundown SALT 🧂 6K and love it.

hooked up the amp and worked for 15 minutes.. turned off the radio and when i turned it back on i have no sound...green light is on but no sound... changed rca's 3 times and head unit and still nothing....dont buy
