It was $6 and tiny. I have used it on an 8ft fly rod with monofilament line for tiny fish like a cane poll, reel is simply line storage for me…... World’s smallest fly reel possibly, it can hold 25ft of 6wt fly line, I checked this out of curiosity. It’s all plastic (“breakable hard plastic”), reels smoothly with anti reverse, but zero gears, the high speed in the head line is FALSE, 1 reel crank is 1 wind, that’s certainly NOT high speed, LOL… Functional drag that’s tension is only a smashed plastic O-ring tightened by wing nut. You’d likely need to sand or file some material away so it will mount on a fly rod. This is the lowest level of fishing reel available. ... show more
