  • DURACORD ROPE: Synthetic blend feels soft like cotton yet wears like polyester; all weather rope resists common impurities and color shift; dense low stretch construction supports a steady lay for daily relaxing in sun or shade
  • OAK SPREADER BARS: Premium oak hardwood repeatedly hand dipped in honey gold marine grade varnish for protection and longevity; smooth bars keep the bed open and flat for easy entry exit and stable lounging in breezy backyards
  • DOUBLE LATCH WEAVE: Handwoven lattice where rope pulls against rope to remove bulky knots; generous rope yield creates a sturdier hammock bed and promotes even weight distribution for full body comfort with fewer pressure points
  • ZINC PLATED HARDWARE AND ACCESSORIES: Zinc plated rings chains and tree hooks resist rust for a longer outdoor life; free extension chains simplify setup and let you fine tune hanging length between sturdy trees posts or a compatible stand

Great quality, lasted 10 years
Color: Oatmeal
Loved this hammock. Comfortable rope, creamy color weathered to a good neutral. Not inexpensive, but lasted 10 years under oak trees with zero protection. Hammock itself is still fine, but one of the spreader bars eventually broke/rotted. It did occasionally get hit by large fallen tree branches, so that may have been a contributory factor. Going to try a cheaper one this time, but suspect it won't be as good and we'll be back for another of these. ... show more

Awesome product!
Color: Oatmeal
The media could not be loaded. The hammock is so comfortable and fits great in my backyard! It just fit between my palm trees! Plan ahead and plant your trees 15’ apart.

Top of the line, excellent - used entire summer
Color: Oatmeal
Absolutelty top-notch. I left it out in rain, shine and fog for 6 months now. Don't have the energy to get it inside each time it rains (and oh boy, did it rain this summer in Dallas!). Each time sun shines back, my hammock is as great-feeling, as shiny and as taut as new. This weekend I had a party in my backyard, and my guests turned on the rough heat a little bit - they were even using it as a swing, three adults at a time. I was a little concerned, but at the end it was as if nothing happened. Kind of the feeling you get after you complete your first cross-state long drive with your Honda or Toyota - you are concerned whether your car is OK, but that trip was not even as much as a dent on its mind-boggling robust engineering. Pawleys rocks! Mine and my wife's inexperience at the beginning resulted in a very scarily tangled up knot - all the hammock's ropes seemed to be tied to evry other piece of rope and passing through every other hole. But we slept on ot for a night, and gave it another shot next day. An intricate amount of mathematical calculations saved the day, and the hammock was straight again. It was us to blame in the first place - be careful to handle the hammock the right way. While rolling up, use the wood bars at the ends as anchor. Do not try fancy styles or get inattentive while rolling it up or down. ... show more

Excellent hammock! Until someone steals it.
Color: Coastal Blue
The polyester really does feel like cotton. Quality construction. I wish someone hadn’t taken it. 😢

Overall, a great value!
Color: Oatmeal
I recently purchased this hammock for my parents to replace the one they currently had. They had left the previous hammock out in the rain, and some interesting growth was forming on the rope. I bought this particular hammock in the hopes that the Duracord would perform as promised- it would still look good after being left outside. It delivers on its promise and is still very comfortable! That being said, I do not find the Duracord to be quite as comfortable as the previous cotton cord hammock- the cotton was a softer material. The softness is not a huge deal, though, because the Duracord maintains its appearance nicely. I was also surprised to find that when I went out to the hammock after a heavy rainfall, the Duracord material was as dry as if it had been baking in the sun for the past 2 days. Outside of the Duracord material, I found this hammock to be nicely constructed overall. Some of the knots appear to be a little sloppy in how they were tied, but these knots are in an out of the way area of the hammock, so It'll be all right with no one or nothing messing with it. The wooden bars are nicely protected from the elements with the coating they put on it. Quick Recap: Pros- Awesome Duracord material looks nice, stays dry Solidly constructed hammock overall Cons- Duracord material not quite as soft as previous cotton hammock some knots are a little sloppy in how they were tied Overall Opinion- Great Hammock, definitely worth the cost! ... show more

I bought this in 2011. It has held up all these years, dries quickly, and I still love it.
