Description

So why call it the Symphony iii this third iteration of the classic collection has undergone a few slight design changes, starting with the hands. The signature dauphine hands have been swapped for a spear-tipped set. The Chapter ring is now flat against the edge of the Case and features a concentric design. Additionally, the date window has more of a rounded frame. While these are all pretty subtle changes, the watch certainly hasn’t lost its luster—it’s still as polished (literally) and elegant as ever, especially with its sunburst dial. The size of the watch Has been upped by a mere. 6mm from the original. As mentioned, it’s been upgraded with our caliber F6722, which is automatic, manual-winding, and hacking. In fact, the movement Can be observed through a clear exhibition case back, just like the models that came before it.

Gorgeous time peice, especially in person. I would say that the rotor is abit noisy (you can feel it when you put your hands to your side really quickly), but I do not mind it, feels like a mechanical heart beat on your wrtist. Its been quite accurate when I wore it for weeks at a time (think it was +10 seconds at the end of 2 weeks) ... show more

Orient watches a division of Seiko, are the best bargain going. High quality in the entire watch. This is a solid hefty watch that is just the right size for me. The dial will rival any top line watch. The automatic movement keeps excellent time, and it has a hacking feature which allows me to synchronize the precise time. The watch is beautiful without a doubt, but sadly it is far larger than it appears, dwarfing most woman's wrists. I would love to see a 38mm version of this, or possibly smaller, with the appropriately thinned bracelet. I give it 4 stars, as it is a beautifully designed watch.

1 day review - pictures do not do this watch justice. You need to see in person to appreciate. I bought the white dial leather strap version and it has surpassed my expectations from the pictures. The dial is everything on this watch. Sunburst on this white and sometimes almost chrome looking dial depending on the lighting is gorgeous. And with a fully mirror polished case the watch is beautiful out of the box. The leather strap is decent enough, with time and breaking it in it should be fine but I can see any dress strap matching perfectly with this watch. Can't comment on the accuracy yet after 1 day but if it's anything like the previous orient watches I've owned it should be fine. It has hacking, which for this price isn't a given, so I'll know how accurate it is soon enough. ... show more

    • Minimalist which is great but not accurate time after 6 days.

If you are looking for a self-winding automatic analog watch with array of features, this is not the watch for you. The main selling point of this watch for me is its minimalist design. It is very simple — round off-white dial, spear-shaped sec/minute/hour hands, date, non-numeric tapered short lines for time display, logo, and stainless/silver standard bracelet. Very quiet. Looks elegant. Nothing fancy. However, after testing it from Jan 1 to Jan 6, the time displayed is approximately 90 seconds ahead of the actual time on my cellphone. So I reset it to the actual cellphone time today, Jan 6th, 2026. Will compare again on Jan 12th. Stay tuned. Everything I wrote down here was true. Watch runs a tad faster. After a couple of days, the time difference is noticeable. At least you won’t be late on your appointments. Lastly, I really like the aesthetics of this watch. So 3 stars. Final review. ... show more

Beautiful watch. Feels solid on your wrist and the see through back that shows the movement is very cool. It is a Japanese movement that looks quality made. Japanese movement are usually very accurate in keeping time and don’t believe this will be the exception. Worth the money at the current price point. I did some research online about the Orient brand before purchasing and I invite you to do the same to help you feel comfortable with the purchase. ... show more
