As someone who went gray and stayed that way, I have searched and tried about everything for 10 years. This shampoo was expensive, but looked great and was NOT purple, so I decided to try it - I will say it is WORTH THE PRICE and does everything it promises. My hair has never looked so healthy and not a drop of discoloration anywhere. It looks good and smells good. It is healthy and growing. I still cannot get over how nice this shampoo is and after using for two months I am going to continue. I normally would never spend this much on myself for a shampoo but with results like this, I will budget it in!

If you have naturally white hair like I do, purple shampoos work only for so long. Then, if you're like me, children and strangers alike might start complimenting you on your lilac hair color! SO NOT what I want! And herein is why I really like this Oribe Silverati Shampoo! NO lilac. NO Blue. NO purple. Just bright, white, shiny hair! AND, I do find this to be a very rich shampoo that lathers beautifully so I actually divide it with water and get two bottles-worth for one! Great shampoo that is also quite beautiful to look at: It is silver!

This silvery colored shampoo smells fresh and clean, not too strong, and goes a long way, it is expensive for every day,, so I rotate it with another sulfate free shampoo. It does make my hair more white and shiny, but a little bit dry. I also use their leave in conditioner to put on after I shower. That really helps my fly aways and dry frizzy hair whether I use it on wet or dry hair. Nice indulgent line.

I'm so happy with this shampoo! It smells great, enhances my blonde hair & leaves my hair in great condition WITHOUT a hint of purple! I don't think I will be using any other shampoo any time soon!

My mother loves this product. Happy, healthy, shiny silver hair. This is her favorite shampoo because her hair doesn't turn yellow like it can sometimes. Her hair is her crowning glory and is constantly complimented!

I've have naturally white hair for almost 15 years and have used a myriad of purple products ranging from shampoos to mousses to hair sprays. I bought Silverati shampoo and conditioner because the reviews are very good. I'm a bit disappointed in two things: #1 The conditioner did not produce the whitest white like other purple-pigmented colors. By that I mean it left a less-than-white cast. On my hair (granted we're all different), this shampoo when used alone deposited a greenish-blue tint to my white hair and left the silver grey hair underneath in the back of my head looking drab. I left the product on my hair for at least 2-3 minutes. #2 The shampoo left my hair feeling dry when used by itself. When used with the Silverati conditioner, my hair felt slick and not to my liking. I like fluffy, bright hair, not product-laden hair. #3 The cap on the conditioner leaks terribly. I lost at least 1/3 of the new bottle when it tipped over sideways in the showercaddy. In all, and based on my experience, this product is not formulated for white hair. It's probably beautiful on silver hair.

I love Oribe Silverati shampoo because it truly makes the grey in my hair a beautiful silver. My sister didn't believe me until she came to visit. Suddenly she remarked, "Sister! Your hair IS a beautiful silver!" -- and now she uses it too. But what came in this order isn't right. The bottle is right, but instead of a beautiful opaque & creamy silver-blue, the shampoo is a dull transluscent yellow-grey. And instead of creamy, it's more runny, and doesn't lather well. And to make matters worse, after five days of using it, my hair feels waxy and the grey in my hair has gone from the beautiful silver to a dull yellow-grey. So yesterday I decided to drive the distance to the one shop in my area that sells Oribe, and I bought a bottle, as much as anything, to make sure I wasn't imagining the difference in the shampoo. Or perhaps the formulation has changed since I last bought it. But no, the bottle I bought at the salon is the creamy silver-blue that I remembered. Additionally, there are some ingredients in shampoos that I'm allergic to. Since I started using the Oribe that I bought from Amazon, my scalp has been itching like crazy. I didn't really connect that dot until I was talking to a friend and she made the connection. So the Amazon bottle was not the real thing and was a waste of money. I've posted a picture of the two shampoos above. I'll let you guess which is which.

Was ok, but I prefer the purple shampoo better. Will be switching back to the purple as it has much better lather, smell, and felt healthier, not drier like this one.
