Description

This luxuriously light oil absorbs instantly to restore hair to its prime. Infused with a rich blend of jasmine, edelweiss flower, lychee, sandalwood, cassis, bergamot and argan extracts, each protective drop penetrates the hair to deeply condition, strengthen and smooth-imparting intense nourishment and incredible shine. Works wonders on dry, damaged and color-treated hair. Liquid gold. Apply throughout damp hair. Add to ends after styling for extra luster, conditioning and frizz control. Oribe signature complex (watermelon, lychee and edelweiss flower extracts) defends hair from oxidative stress, photo aging and the deterioration of natural keratin, all while protecting from the drying, damaging and color-depleting effects of the elements. A special blend of emollients conditions and softens hair without weighing it down. Argan oil adds lightweight shine, softens, reduces frizz and improves hair's condition and manageability, all while shielding against UV rays and environmental pollutants. Jasmine oil helps combat dry, itchy scalp and enhances shine. Sandalwood extract, Amur cork tree bark extract and barley extract form a proprietary composition optimized to stimulate the hair cuticle, enhance moisture content, repair split ends and improve overall hair aesthetics. Cassis seed oil contains omega-6 and omega-3 acids, which moisturize and strengthen. This is a wonderful product that creates new life and moisture back into hair. My hair absorbs this oil and loves it. I decided to try oiling my hair. Tried other oils but they all seemed too messy and too much. This one is perfect. I have used other Oribe products and overall have found you can’t go wrong with this brand. They really put your hair health as a priority. I have had a major change in my hair health since I started using this line. Every product has the Oribe scent I could recognize anywhere. My husband compliments the way my hair smells since I started using these products. The softness and shine of my hair has improved. All Oribe products are more expensive but I have found I can buy ten other products or one good one.     • Gorgeous, luxury oil – but know when to use it.

I own this oil. I love how it smells — clean, floral, light woodsy, very Oribe — and it feels rich and silky without being greasy. The consistency is lighter than Moroccanoil but thicker than Kérastase Elixir Ultime. It glides through the hair beautifully, especially when you press it into your ends after styling or use a drop or two on damp mid-lengths before blow-drying. Compared to others: • Shu Uemura Essence Absolue is richer, great for thick/coarse hair, but can feel heavy on fine strands. • Kérastase has slip and elegance, but it disappears fast unless you layer it with other products. • Moroccanoil has the most weight, best for rough textures but not for daily layering. • L’ANZA (my longtime go-to) gives more structure and UV protection. • Oribe Gold Lust? It’s luxury, lightweight, and excellent for dry ends, color-treated hair, and finishing touches when you want your hair to feel soft and polished — but not overloaded. This oil is best when your hair is not soaking wet—use it as a final polish or a mid-week refresh. You don’t need a full pump. One drop goes a long way, especially on fine hair. Too much and you’ll lose volume, so be precise. I’m fast falling in love with Oribe products. As someone who was a loyal Aveda user for over 10 years, switching brands wasn’t something I took lightly—but Oribe has really impressed me so far. I’m still in the process of figuring out which specific line works best for my thick hair, and to be honest, I wish there was some kind of online quiz or guide to help match your hair type and goals to the right products. It can be a little overwhelming with so many amazing options to choose from. That said, every product I’ve tried so far has been high quality, beautifully scented, and leaves my hair feeling soft, nourished, and salon-level polished. Even though I’m still narrowing down my go-to favorites, I’m enjoying the process and really happy with the results so far. I’ve tried so many hair oils and they always make my hair look greasy the next day! My hair is wavy naturally and medium in thickness. I always blow dry and style. This oil makes SUCH a difference !! I thought that there was no way a $60 oil would do anything and that maybe it was just for the name BUT NO ITS AMAZING !
