RG6 cable is as advertised with solid copper core and appears well constructed. My only negative it that it is not as flexible as some RG6 I have purchased in the past, which could in part be the extra shielding.

I have installed 3 leads into my basement that I am refinishing for cable or sat tv and an extra for an antenna. I also ran it to all of my basement rooms. Speeds on my cable modem are the same but that's not why I installed them. Solid base pure copper is the way to go and is why I did. These will be in my walls for ever so I went with the best option out there. I also used the Klein Universal F Compression Connector for RG6/6Q and they are a dream to work with.
