The first time I laid on it I thought it was comfortable but then that first night sleeping on it my skin started bothering me and I could not sleep so the next day I took the mattress topper off the bed put it in a bag ready to be sent back. I washed all my linen. At about the 24-hour mark still not sleeping I knew I was having an allergic reaction so I had to leave the house and go to a hotel I finally got to sleep after about 38 hours. I stayed in the hotel for three nights letting the house air out. I washed my bedding again. After three nights in the hotel I came back put the clean bedding back on the bed I was hoping that that was all that was needed so when I went to bed again on that mattress I was only asleep for 1 hour and then I had the same reaction I was not able to sleep I almost went into anaphylactic shock. I knew then that whatever was in the mattress topper had absorbed into my mattress I got up to try to go to sleep in my chair with the same pair of pajamas on. Not thinking that it absorbed into my clothes to. At that time I knew I had to go back to the hotel. So I took a shower change my clothes I went back to the hotel. And after another 38 hours I finally fell asleep. I also have epilepsy and because of this allergic reaction and lack of sleep I had a breakthrough seizure. I can no longer sleep on my mattress because whatever was on the mattress topper has absorbed into my 6 month old $2,000 all organic mattress . I had to get it out of the house and throw it out. Now I have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement organic mattress to be made and shipped to me from California. So I have to stay in a hotel for the next 3 weeks hoping the house will air out enough.

I am chemically sensitive and have had to return toppers and even a complete latex bed before, because of problems. There is no odor to this product and it does not affect me in a negative way. It is completely organic, not just "natural" and the price is way below the competing products. There is no fancy quilted cover, but it is a really nice cover. I have my own organic quilted mattress pad on top of it. Very comfortable. So happy to find this topper

I live with chronic pain and have struggled to find a mattress or topper that is soft enough to not cause pressure pain but also provide support so that my joints stay in alignment and I'm not tossing and turning every hour because I sink in and my arms or legs fall asleep. I've tried a few mattresses and many types of mattress toppers mostly different memory foam types (gel, charcoal,1', 2", 4") I've also tried different heights of cotton down alternative toppers. My husband jokes that I"m the princess and the pea! I really hated to spend "waste" this much money on another topper hoping for relief only to be dissapointed but after another day of pain I broke down and bought this topper. I am sooo glad I did. I bought the 2" soft and it is perfect. It is softer than I imagined from reading other reviews.. it is supportive like jello but i feel like it's softer than I imagined Jello would feel. It gives just enough so I don't feel pressure on my hips but is supportive so that I don't sink in and pull my joints out of alignment. It is so easy and comfortable to roll over because you don't sink in deeply like with memory foam and it is nice and cool! I am highly sensitive/allergic to chemicals and smells as I have MCAS. This topper came with the organic cotton cover already on, I didn't remove the cover but with the cover on it did not have any smell and I did not have any reaction to it whatsoever!

I've been sleeping on an all natural, sheep wool filled, organic cotton mattress. Though it is all natural, the comfort level is less than desirable, and leave me really sore, and feeling beat up by the morning. Not a restful sleep at all. I researched memory foam vs natural latex mattress toppers. Memory foam has toxic chemicals used in the manufacturing of it. This natural latex topper is GOT certified, all natural, non-toxic, eco friendly and has no emitting odors, nor requires airing out before using. From the first night to present, I no longer wake up sore and tired feeling and get a more restful sleep because of this natural , latex topper that's only 2" thick. It does the trick and well. I'm mostly a side sleeper (with a little sleeping on my back), and while this topper is rated at SOFT, it still gives good support and makes for a comfortable eve's rest. It is worth the $134 I paid for it via amazon, with no regrets at all ! My sleep=health, is worth it ! Thumbs up for this latex topper by Take Ten and thank you Amazon Prime for fulfilling it !

I ordered the 3-inch soft- latex topper. I only ordered one topper for our split-king adjustable bed to see if it would help make our Nectar mattresses more comfortable. I slept on it the first night and I was very uncomfortable. I contacted the company by email and they said it normally takes a week or more to adjust to a new sleep surface. I decided to try and give it more time. I managed to use it several more days but never got a good nights sleep. I contacted the company again and they send me a prepaid return shipping level. We have a good laugh getting the topper back in the box! Although the topper did not work for me, the company was very easy to work with.

I am having some back/hip issues, which I am still working on. When I got out of bed my legs were stiff and I had to move a bit to loosen things up. I have similar issues when I lay flat on a floor to do yoga. We are exploring the possibility that this creates pressure and pinches a nerve in my back. As soon as I started sleeping on the topper, the stiffness getting out of bed was gone. It's not squishy like a waterbed feel. It just feel like it "holds me" with a little give, but also provides support. I am so glad I purchased it! Because of the comments about an "odor", I allowed it to air out on my enclosed deck, but I never noticed an odor even before airing it out. I bought this size to cover half of an extended king bed.
