I bought these lights because of the color temperature and the brightness. They were to be installed in canned light fixtures in my ceiling. They appear to have all the parts except that there is no way to attach the torsion springs (needed to hold up the light disk in the can) to the light disk itself. I followed their instructions and sent an email asking for help. After nearly a week, I have not heard back. I tried to call them. Their telephone number auto answer instructed me to call a different number. I called it, only to be told to send an email. I will be sending these back to Amazon since THEY DO NOT WORK AS INTENDED. UPDATE - I finally was contacted by the company. Evidently my email to them wound up in their spam folder. I was given information about how to install in canned line fixtures, which was not explained in the supplied instructions. Once I knew the how-to, I was able to quickly install some of the lights. They are very bright and do seem to be the 5000K color as advertised. That means they are very white and do not have the yellow hue associated with most incandescent lights. I will need more and will happily buy them. In case anyone else out there is struggling with how to install in canned light fixtures, the key is to attach the flat bracket to the light disk (as shown in the instructions for J box instructions). Then attach the torsion springs TO THE BRACKET. The bracket has two sets of holes labeled with the size of the can. My cans are 6" diameter, so I used the holes marked with the 6 for the attachment of the torsion springs, using the tiny screws in the bag with the torsion springs.     • Easy to install in cylinder's with areas for clips
If your lights don’t have the clip bracket then you can buy a retrofit from Amazon. I just used the can mounting screws and cut the screw holes on the bottom of the retrofit clip and slid one on each side. That worked great. Lights look great. They are dimmable and you will need a dimmable switch. Only 2 types worked for me. ... show more
