I brought this device primarily to play old records I had and wanted also a CD player and a radio. I disagree with the reviews that said the sound wasn’t particularly good. I suspect those reviewers were looking for sound similar to what you would get with an expensive Sound system.The sound is strong and excellent, the CD player also has nice sound as does the radio. The unhappy reviewers I believe are looking for a unit that has multiple controls to vary the type of sound you get. This is a wonderful player that replaced a long lived turn table that finally died. It does not have multiple controls but who cares when you get this quality for a good price. I highly recommend it.

The item fulfills the basic requirements of playing various audio formats. A negative takeaway from this item is the lack of audible volume. I connected an auxiliary speaker and that too did not produce an elevated sound level.

I read the reviews before purchasing this. Some said the sound quality wasn't so good. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. It is so loud I have to turn volume down. This is protected well through shipping package and it even came with a gift card ; I guess if someone is gifting it. I tried the radio ,cd player , and the record player with my 78's and 33 1/2's. Worked well with both. I chose this model over a different one ( even though it was a bit more) because of 2 things; It's not as boxy and the arm on the record player has the slow let down arm. This helps so you don't accidentally scratch the record while lowering it.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH BRANDLINE HAS BEEN VERY DISSAPOINTING.I'D GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I AM DISABLED AND OFTEN AT HOME SO MY HUSBAND AND SON GAVE ME A BLACK ORCC 10-1 RECORD PLAYER FOR CHRISTMAS BECAUSE I LOVE MY OLD VINYLS RECORDS, CD'S AND CASSETTES. FEDEX DELIVERED IT IN AN UNDAMAGED BOX BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, IT ARRIVED WITH MANUFACTURERS' DEFECTS, PAINTED OVER SCRATCHES, ON TOP OF THE TURNTABLE COVER. I NEVER GOT TO ENJOY IT. WE RETURNED IT TO AMAZON AND REORDERED A REPLACEMENT THROUGH THEM. NO PROBLEM. BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT THE REPLACEMENT, SENT BY BRANDLINE, ARRIVED WITH MANUFACTURERS' DEFECTS AGAIN TOTHE TURNTABLE COVER. AND THE CD PLAYER DOESN'T PLAY EITHER. AMAZING!!! CLEARLY THERE IS A QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM AT BRANDLINE. WE EMAILED THEM AND PROVIDED PICTURES. THEY'RE RESPONSE IS TO SEND A CLAIM TO FEDEX FOR DAMAGE ALTHOUGH THE PROBLEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SHIPPING, OFFERED A LABEL THAT REQUIRES US TO PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE AND COMPENSATE US BY OFFERING $15.00 TOWARDS THE MANUFACTURES' DAMAGING DEFECTS IF WE KEEP THE DEFECTIVE UNIT. THIS WAS NOT AN INEXPENSIVE GIFT AND I DON'T LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THE DEFECT EVERY DAY ON THE TURNTABLE COVER. SO THANKS BUT NO THANKS FOR THE $15.00 OFFER. WE'VE ASKED FOR A PREPAID RETURN LABEL AND A BLACK ORCC 10-2 RECORD PLAYER IN WONDERFUL CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE ARRIVED AS A CHRISTMAS. BUT THREE STRIKES AND THEY'RE OUT.
