I love EDC (everyday carry) gadgets and gear. I have had OrbitKey products in the past that work flawlessly. I really wanted to love this. The all black aesthetic is right up my alley. At least once a day, my keys fall to the ground. They get bumped or caught on various things throughout the day and to the ground they go. I have them clipped to my right side on my pants. For context, I only carry my car keyfob, air tag, and 1 key for my office on this. The size of this carabiner is also really large. For me it makes my keys measure almost 6 inches from top of the clip to the bottom of my key fob. Because of the magnetic release, it adds about 1.5 inches to the overall length instead of just having your keys on a carabiner alone. I would say this is really great if you don't plan on carrying your keys on your belt or pants and maybe more like clipped to a bag or inside pocket of a bag.

The only problem I ran into was when it was hooked on my belt and my heavy jackets waistline pushed the tab and my keys off onto the ground. Other than that works like a dream!

It has a very premium feel, but the design falls short for me. The magnetic clip is very easy to remove, but it's just as easy to lose or have stolen if you're walking around in a crowded environment. The large size of the unit causes it to swing pretty wildly while walking, which adds to that risk factor. Least importantly, there are also some bulky aesthetic flourishes that clash with other more minimalist Orbitkey products (but you can see for yourself if this is an issue for you). Would be 4-stars if not for the steep pricing.

Perfect solution for what I needed to remove only a key fob. Works well and the magnet is strong. I’m worried that it will lose its grip over time but for now this works best. Way overpriced but there’s nothing really out there like this yet.

Sturdiness & value will be determined with time , I purchased this item after my grandson showed me his . Unfortunately he recently told me that the spring in his carbiner clip has broken & does not close , I'm hoping this was a fluke ! Will know in time .

It's been a week and I really like it. Keep it on my belt loop and its long enough to be in my pocket but not jingling my keys around. So, I also have enough space for my wallet. Seems pretty sturdy so far, no issues with magnet getting stuck to anything that will make my keys disappear. The only issue is the magnet does pull the ring my car key and fob are on. I could just add it to the D-ring but then it would be weird having to disassemble it if I have to drop it off for service. I'm thinking adding a titanium ring to fix that but its not so annoying that I remember to do that.

Well made and durable keychain, and the magnetic catch works beautifully. My only small complaint is that the tab for pulling your keys off of the carabiner often hangs up sticking straight out so it needs to be fiddled with in order to get it to lay flat.
