It makes a great couch and a slightly sort of possibly semi ok bed. I'm 6 foot and a lot of people have made the complaint that it is too short for them. I have it on 3 inch furniture lifters for better underneath storage and one of those basic ottomans you can get at walmart for $60 at one end and guess what, my height is no longer an issue if I want to pass out while watching a movie. For what it is, I can't complain. It could be better but I am glad it wasn't worse. So I would say if you want a small couch and don't want to spend a ton of money, give it a shot. ... show more

The futon looks cute & is easy to make into a bed. However, it is extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Young kids don’t mind it but adults do. Other than that, it was easy to assemble & I like it.

The futon was a perfect size and couldn't beat the price when it was on sale. Instructions where OK and decent to follow. My main complaint is that is not as cushiony as I had hope for. I think it was harder trying to take it out of the box then it was to assemble. I would recommend to put felt on bottom legs before assembly if you have hardwood floor. Also recommend 2 people when you need to flip it over. I did it by myself but worried about scratching the floor (put a moving blanket on floor). I would also recommend to clean it right away with car leather cleaner and conditioner. ... show more

Nice futon for a small space, adjusts positions easily and very easy to assemble. However that being said the material is NOT faux leather at all. I ordered the brown color and it is some sort of synthetic suede like fabric. Really wanted faux leather for cleaning purposes since I am using this futon in a rental cabin. Oh well, hopefully it will not be difficult to clean with spills and pet hair, odors etc. ... show more

The futon was easy to put together, did it myself. However, the pictures make it look much more plush than it actually is, even after waiting 72hr for the cushions to fluff out. There is a solid metal bar that runs down the center so you cannot sit straight up against the back or lay down right in the middle when it’s flat.
