This is important to use when polishing your nails. It keeps your nails from becoming yellow, especially darker colors of polish. This is the only base coat I use. Before this came out, my nails were awful looking when my polish was removed. I was ashamed to have people look at them. Wa la, along came the primer. Can't do without it. Do not purchase. I had beautiful, naturally long nails. After three days with this product, they are broken and soft. I am heartbroken. I have always had great results with Sally Hansen Strengthener. Also if you use natural polish remover rather than acetone, you will use quite a bit of remover as this is really sticky and gooey when removing. (Acetone drives out my nails) This product is awful, a big waste of money. All the stores allow returns with nail polish. I am very disappointed with Amazon for sticking me with this garbage. ... show more

It goes on clear and smooth. What I don't like is that my polish peels off super easy when I use this primer, whivh defies a lot of the purpose. My nails definitely are more brittle after using this, the strengthening properties don't do anything. Ive had good nail strengthener before, this aint it. Ive also had good primer before that helped my polish stay on, this aint it. ... show more

This made my nails sticky - for the whole week I had it on under my Infinite Shine polish and top coat. Never seemed to dry. Def won’t be using again.

This doesn't seem to dry like the regular primer for the Infinite Shine line. I can wait 20 minutes for my nails to try to dry and I will still be able to dent/ruin my nail polish. It doesn't seem to play well at all. Stick to the regular Infinite Shine primer.

    • Strengthening = peel?
I didn't realize when I purchased the strengthening primer it was also a peel off primer. I'll have beautiful nails for a day or two and then POOF! One of my nails is completely void of nail polish. The whole thing just gone. I won't be using this any longer.
