Cushion covers requires a good thread, but it' not cheap and hard to find. Also, I've had problems with my sewing machine when I use certain threads, including thicker upholstery threads. I was doubtful of the quality of the this thread when I happen on the ad but the price was low enough for me to make a "what the heck, I'll try it", moment. Now that I've completed my project using this thread, I can honestly say it is the best I've ever used. Its a strong thread that doesn't fray easily. I think this is my new 'go-to' thread. I hand quilt all my quilts with upholstery thread and normally use a color called driftwood from a well-known thread manufacturer. this thread is not only a prettier color but it's stronger with a bit of 'bounce' in it and will have a little give, whereas the other had none. the color is a tiny bit warmer than the other - I like that. now I have a new signature quilting color. ... show more
