This thing is awesome! I'm impressed, it feels sturdy and it holds a lot once popped up! The large handle gives you an alternative grab from the side handles which can be good if you're only using one arm. The basket pops open pretty easily, but with some resistance so you could use it half open. It's definitely sturdy enough for a load of laundry. The size looks small till it's popped open, it easily fit the load I needed to do. Could use it to carry other things if needed. I definitely recommend and it would even make a nice gift, really good price point as well. It folds down easily and is easy to store away! My favorite laundry basket so far, and would be great for a small apartment or home if space is a concern.

They look good at first but after just a few uses it will partially collaps on its own and stay that way. Mine is partially collapsed all of the time. I would not buy these again.

One star because it looks awesome- and has a great idea. Bad because I used it for about 7 months. No more than once a week to take laundry from my room to the washer/dryer. So far this basket has a broken handle, and ripped rubber on the corners. If you going to use this basket weekly don’t buy it, good for one to twenty uses in my opinion. Great idea for looks, bad for weekly use.

Update: After attempting to place a small load of wet laundry into one of these baskets, I have to revise my review/recommendation. They are not sturdy enough even for smaller items, and I can foresee that they will fail relatively quickly as other reviewers noted. Also, the wheels I added wouldn't work with even a small wet load. Breaking down the basket was also problematic. I was able to remove the wheels without any residue and will be sending these back. I did receive the wheeled basket I mentioned that is more expensive, but the difference is that it is a BUCKET not just a basket, and because it is designed to hold water, it is far sturdier. It wheels great and can even hold a wet load of towels. I do think these might still work as a sock basket, for baby clothes or other light, small items, BUT only if the items are dry. I need a fully functional laundry basket, so this doesn't work for me. Original review: So, these are on the small side, but good for: kids clothes, undergarments, socks, tshirts, small towels. If you do a lot of laundry for older kids or adults with heavy items such as sweats and jeans, these probably won't work for you as primary baskets. These also cannot accommodate blankets, large towels, linens, comforters, etc. In the photo next to a small standard square basket, you can see the size difference. As secondary baskets for smaller items and the ability to save space, I would recommend. I added small casters to one of them (I had gotten for something else but didnt use/there may be better ones on here). Will update if it ends up being a complete fail, but as seen in the video, it does now roll. I did purchase the version of these with wheels that is more expensive but it hasn't arrived yet. Considering it is even smaller than these, I will be returning because nothing smaller than these would be worth the added cost just for the collapsible function. IMO, these collapsible baskets in general aren't really designed to hold heavy items and the larger wheels probably gives the (false) appearance they can handle heavier items than they are really capable of holding.

They work well but the collapse function isn't as easy as it sounds and some of the rubber in between is permanently warped so they don't sit up perfect. I wouldn't say they're the most stable but they work well for what they are, also smaller than they look

Excellent size ... not too big or too small & easy to carry & move around ... they hold a good load of laundry ! very sturdy & I like that I can collapse them to store when I don't need them! Give them 5 stars! I like oval shape that takes up less space than round baskets .
