The life jacket functions as expected, meaning it floats. It's light weight and fits well of multiple body sizes. My wife and son were able to switch off with this various times on our trip. The color is almost exactly the same color of blue as pictures. The only thing I would like to see different about its design is more holders for the straps as they would come of the single holder often when not worn. 'one size fits all'? no. Maybe if you are very thin. Not if you are most of the rest of the world. They are not big enough for a large child. The oversize would probably have fit a regular adult.
