The media could not be loaded. The item for the price seems like a good deal, time will tell on the longevity. Amazon send me an email the day before the delivery indicating I have to give the driver a code they will mail the day of delivery. It worked out fine because the delivery was today Sunday and I was home. Unsure what would have happened if no one was home to give the code. Keep that in mind and time accordingly. The other minor issue, as I show on the video, the tracts for the bars that hold the flask could have been made about 1/4 inch longer on each side to be able to accommodate larger Flask after all this is a 7.5 Kg machine.

This is a pretty simple piece of gear and either does the job or doesn't. Mine has been running almost continuously for two weeks, agitating liquid medium. It operates smoothly and noiselessly. The timer gap, where you can set time only up to 20 hours is a little strange. I'm often run a process for full days, so it would be useful to be able to set 24 hours or increments of days, but you can just use an external timer switch to accomplish that. At the price, you only other option would usually be used gear, so it is a good bargain. The true test, as always, is longevity.

This unit is very well built for lab work. I can recommend this piece of equipment to any lab that has a need for this type of item. In my case I have a professor that is going to use it for earthquake research. He has already tested it and says it will give him the data that he needs. To that end he will be using research assistants to gather the data.

We loved it! The only (very slight) con is the loud beeping alarm when the timer/alarm goes off but other than that it is a very very quiet and not at all a heavy piece of equipment (which was important for us because we move it around the lab). Very happy with our purchase!
