so far so good... got these for mixing nail polish. works well for that so far, though you have to be careful how you hold the bottle or it wont activate. if you have a lot of polishes or art supplies that require shaking up, this is a good option since you don't have to attach the item being shook up and you have more options for the types of bottles that can be mixed.

I was influenced from a user in a Facebook group I’m in, who recommended to purchase this product, as it mixes nail polish well without the bubbles. I purchased it 2 months prior, but didn’t use it until today because I was in the process of moving. Now that I’m settled into my new place, I decided to try it out. I tested it on a nail polish that has separated. It was easy to set up on my table. It took a few minutes to mix the nail polish to get it back to its original formula. I can’t believe how well and how easy it worked to restore my nail polish. I intend to do this for the rest of my bottles. I also tested it on a topcoat because it was starting to dry out, so I added nail polish thinner. I suspected the item would leave air bubbles in the clear nail polish, but it did not. I’m very satisfied with this product. It was very inexpensive so I feel it is a good value for my money. I hope it lasts me a long time.

Satisfied for the price point. I wish it had a little more rpm but it does get the job done. Will possibly add more SS balls to see if I get better results. Overall I would still buy this one again vs spending more.

Very convenient and fast paint mixer. Takes all of five seconds to mix my paints, works well and very quiet. Very handy to have in my airbrush/3d printer work area. Highly recommend if you airbrush or paint often then add this to your base tools list. I use this daily and love it. The price is right, product shipped very fast without any issues.

I purchased this vortex mixer to save both time and my shoulder, and WOW, it has exceeded all my expectations! As a commission hobby painter, efficiency is everything, and this little powerhouse is an absolute game-changer. Not only does it mix paint far better than shaking by hand, but it does so in just 15-20 seconds—no more endless shaking or struggling with separated pigments! The pictures show a before-and-after of one of my paints that had been sitting unused for quite some time, and the difference is night and day. If you're on the fence about getting one, do yourself a favor and grab it! Your paints (and your arm) will thank you!

I've got a legitimate lab shaker that I got used for a reasonable price, but I wanted something that was smaller and maybe not as loud. Unfortunately, this shaker has two major problems: First, the power cord is way too short. It's ridiculous that it's supplied with a cord that is maybe three feet long, if that. I didn't have a lot of outlets in my house, so I have to use a surge suppressor. The brick barely touches the suppressor if the shaker is sitting all the way at the back of my desk. If I put the shaker where I can actually use it, I can't plug it in. Second, for some reason, the shaker action starts slowing down after a few seconds, which makes the unit useless if I need to really mix something well. Third, you have to make contact with a specific area of the shaker to get it to activate - if you flip a dropper bottle of paint, the tip of the cap doesn't have enough surface area to fully trigger the unit, and it either won't activate, or it will continuously rev up and slow down as it makes and loses contact. Because of these major limitations, this is a no-go for me.

Bought this for painting mini TTRPG figures in order to help keep the paint more fresh and regularly shaken. Does it's job and does it well and has held up for years. It's a very simple device that has helped saved some strain on an arthritic wrist, allowing more time to be spent on painting then shaking tiny paint vials back to life.

As someone who has worked in his share of labs, this a cheap, very average vortex mixer. However, I'm not using it in a lab. I bought this for my work bench. I use it to mix paints for scale models. It's brilliant for that. Sometimes you finesse the trigger mechanism some, but in a non-critical role, that's ok, it's hard to beat for the price.
