    • Buy an AyaNeo instead, like I wish I did.
This is the second Onex product I have purchased and it will be the last. This company simply cannot make controllers work. And they have the worst support for a product I have ever had to deal with. Well, it's not so much that it's bad, it's that it's nonexistent. I bought the AMD version of the console. So, I need the AMD drivers. Naturally, I went to the Onexplayer website looking for the drivers. There are no drivers on the onexplayer website. Instead, you have to go to the indiego website for the drivers. Only there are no AMD drivers for the console on the indiego site, either. So far as I can tell, these drivers don't exist. They're selling an AMD console, but are not providing any AMD drivers. And this is kind of important because - and I can't emphasize this enough - THE CONTROLLERS. DON'T. WORK. And by don't work, I mean the "controller" configuration (which initiates when you hold down the keyboard for 2 seconds) still has a mouse pointer is still active. It just switches from the left stick to the right stick. So, effectively, the "controller" controls and the mouse controls are active AT THE SAME TIME. Meaning, when I'm trying to control Master Chief in Halo Infinite, I am also simultaneously moving the mouse button. And every time I push the A or B button, I am also simultaneously left clicking or right clicking the mouse. And the effect of that is - every time I try to play halo, I am constantly accidentally clicking out of the game, bringing up my task bar, taking myself out of full screen, etc. Know what might fix this? The correct driver. Know what isn't available anywhere? An AMD driver. For the AMD console that they are selling. To be fully transparent, I am not the most computer savvy person in the world. I am primarily a console gamer who is basically looking for a more powerful switch. A really knowledgeable PC gamer might be able to figure out how to configure this without the available drivers. However, I've never had a problem with ANY of the GPD products I've owned. They all just work out of the box. This is the second Onex device I've bought and they've both had TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE control problems. Wait for the Steam Deck. Or buy an Aya Neo. Or buy a GPD Win 3. I would even say my GPD Win Max is VASTLY superior to this. NEVER ever ever ever buy a Onexplayer product. I never will again. ... show more

Received my Onex the AMD 5700U version yesterday and im very happy with my purchase. It handles games like Dying Light 2, Fordza Horizon 5 Halo...etc with easy without me having to use boost function. Touch screen function is very well integrated (I don't have to touch the screen more than once for it to work) the only thing i feel they need to improve on this handheld is the battery life. On demanding titles like cyberpunk the battery drains quick. battery from 100% to 10% is around 2 hours and this is without the boost function. might be around 1 hour with boost. Other than this the system works perfectly. charge time is less than an hour which is perfect for me. If you have the money to burn then this handheld is a must :). ... show more

This is to big and bulky for a handheld game. The screen is great,but you’re basically playing on a Microsoft surface go in your hand for gaming. You are paying $$1,500 to run games on low settings.. when you can pay the same amount for a small great gaming laptop and run all games on high medium settings.. and don’t buy from this seller it takes at least three weeks to get your money back. ... show more

    • Hope it doesn't have issues, Impossible to get it repaired/fixed.
I had an issue with both USB C ports having intermittent connection issues, I tried 10 different cables and adaptors to determine the issue, and the problem always pointed to the USB C ports, not the cables/adaptors. I spent a month explaining this to the OneXPlayer company before they finally told me to go ahead and ship it back to them. I shipped the device back at my cost ($79), with their instructions to avoid customs, in their instructions I was advised to claim it was $199.00. I shipped the device 8/8/22, and by 9/1/22 it was in customs. It is 9/30/22 and the device is still in customs. Once a week I reach out to OneXPlayer and they advised me 3 weeks in a row that "We have contacted customs and it will be released this week", almost a month later and it's not released. I asked them for other ways to help get me a working device, they stopped responding. I fear I'm now out of $1300.00 because I can't even file a claim with the post office, if I do the most they will reimburse me is the $199.00 claimed. The device was a great device until I had an issue, the company has not been helpful, and gone silent on me. Pray you don't have issues with the device and need warranty help!!! ... show more
