Caused my check engine light to come back on, almost causing me to take it to a shop where I would’ve paid a lot of money for a mechanic to check it out only to tell me it was a faulty cap. Of course the light came on a few weeks later, outside of the return window, so I’m out the money. Bought an oem Toyota cap like I knew I should have in the first place. Car has been fine since.
