The casters were heavy duty and very well made and did the job I bought them for. Only two problems. One: It came with a set of directions that absolutely did not match what was in the box. Two: There are two handle pieces, one of which slots into the other to make the handle the proper length to use. These two pieces do not slot together tight enough to hold them together, so the user has to be aware that the handle parts come apart easily. ... show more

    • Move furniture on carpet and hardwood

Seems to be well made. However it failed for my purpose which was to be able to move furniture from one area to another while the carpet was being replaced by luxury vinyl plank flooring. The wheels were so small they sunk into the carpet and would not roll and thus when pushed the furniture would slide off the wheel even with the pad applied. Instructions did not really call out the size of the wheels. It would work to move furniture on hardwood floor, but not so well or not at all on carpeted floor. We were planning on being able to move all the furniture out of one carpeted area to a different carpeted area. When the floor was replaced with lvp flooring, we would roll all the furniture back to the family room and then move the furniture from the other room off the carpet and into the other room. It just didn’t go as planned to say the least. The lift did not work as advertised either. All of my couches have 3 inch feet and wouldn’t lift the leg high enough to get the rollers under the leg. The friction pad had an adhesive to stick to the roller. Because of not moving on the carpet, the adhesive did not hold and the couch slipped off the roller. Like I said, it worked well on hardwood, but wouldn’t recommend for moving furniture over carpet. The. Product was pretty good for the money, as I was going to order a dozen furniture Dollie’s so this was definitely cheaper. But not working on carpet made it difficult to give it anything above a 3 rating because the literature on the product did a poor job of explaining that the wheels were so small. We bought two different types and one had larger wheels than the other, however the larger wheels didn’t work on carpet so we didn’t even try the smaller wheels on carpet. The literature may have shown the differences, but it wasn’t obvious. I will be able to use downstairs when carpet is replaced with lvp. In the mean time I will find a use in my workshop which has concrete flooring. ... show more

Ancient technology but it works as long as you are careful and understand forces as you use this. I used this to move a large, 2 piece Thomasville Enternatinment cabinet...its heavy. When I elevated one side of the unit with the provided jack, the top piece slid away from the jack and loose drawers flung out... could have been dangerous and disasterous if it tipped over. Nothing wrong with the product, but balance is critical with large, top heavy things that you are moving. Be careful and it helps to have a second person spotter and helper. Otherwise, also remember to place the wheel/wheel platform centered in the corners of the furniture---otherwise they can tip over or move. The jack works fine as a lever, but it can split particleboard if its placed under something flimsy and the overall piece is heavy. System rolls nice on hardwood floors. Decent product. 5 Stars!!! As we're getting our wood floors sanded, we had to move all the furniture from three rooms to the carpeted living room. Initially, we considered hiring a few neighborhood kids for the heavy lifting, which would have cost $100 or more. Then, I found these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. For the cost, we successfully moved substantial pieces like a heavy desk, bookshelf, sofa, filing cabinet, and safe. I highly recommend buying this product—it's worth every penny! ... show more

I own very heavy bedroom furniture, and wanted to paint my room. These were amazing to assist me in this task. The only feedback I would give is the jack doesn’t really help, but once you get them lifted onto those rollers, your golden.

The top level description for this item reads "660 Lbs Capacity, for Moving Heavy Furniture, Refrigerator, Sofa, Cabinet" but in the detail, the per-unit limit shows up as "Each Dolly - 165 LB Load Capacity, One Set - 660 LB Load Capacity". My bad for not reading carefully, but other competing items have the per-dolly limit in the top level description. And the placement of the load would also be important - A single small point in the middle isn't good. With a platform made of plastic, these could not move my refrigerator without deforming. ... show more
