    • If you just want some decent headphones to play games with, this will do it.
Some people treat headphones quite snobbishly. Those same people don't really understand that not everyone is willing to drop hundreds of dollars just to hear video games in their ear (or maybe you are). Nevertheless, these headphones are not bad by any means. Here's a quick breakdown on things that were important to me. Sound- They sound great. I used these for both video games and to play my digital piano with, and both instances were fairly decent quality. Now- are we talking about audiophile quality here? No, not at all. But that's not really something that (generally speaking) exists at this price range. These headphones serve as an affordable means to have great game audio. The lower end is quite pronounced, making those big booms and bangs, or even symphonic bass elements really special. Though, the bass is muddy (i.e. if two bass instruments played at once you couldn't tell which was producing which sound), but that's not something everyone cares about. If you're not an audiophile who just wants nice sounding headphones, these are definitely on the list. But if comfort is a must for you, check out the next section. Comfort- This is my big issue with these. They're way too small for my head and the ear cuffs aren't actually over the ear. The ear cuffs, in reality, are smack dab right on my ear. Combine a tight squeeze with ear cuffs that push in on your entire ear, and the result is a pair of headphones that can't be worn for more than 40 minutes at a time. I really rely on headphones to study in louder environments, so noise cancelling is important to me. These certainly block out some noise, only because they squeeze your head so tight there's no way any sound could get through. I wear glasses also, and these were a major pain. Though, the tight fit meant they stayed in place when working out and moving around. They are extendable, so the tight squeeze could be relieved a bit by wearing them a bit longer than you would normally. Keep in mind, wearing my headphones 5 inches above my head isn't really a solution to uncomfortable headphones, whereas making them actually comfortable in the first place is an actual solution. Quality- They're solid headphones at this price range. They're made out of a combination of pleather and plastic, but even still, they're nice. The only gripe I have here was that the headphones in their box was shipped to me. Normally, amazon packages come in little carboard boxes with your stuff inside those boxes. Strangely, these headphones were just sent in the box they naturally come in- no shipping box holding them. This was a concern because, especially with something like headphones, you don't want your product to get banged up in transit. Things aren't perfect and accidents happen. You just don't want that accident to happen to your purchase. Functionality- I used these for video games, movies, my computer, and my digital piano. The headphones come with two cables, one with a boom mic for your games, and another that actually has two different jacks. One jack is meant for plugging into your controller, computer, phone, etc, while the other jack is meant for instruments, amps, or musical equipment. If you use one jack on a controller or an amp, the other jack will plug into the headphones in one of the two plug-ins designed for the corresponding jack. This is such a good idea and really encouraged me to use the headphones in multiple situations. Just plug in the headphones and go at it. No batteries, no charge, no catch. Pretty simple and straightforward, with a little bit of bonus convenience. All in all, these are a pretty solid pair of headphones. You definitely get a bang for your buck on these, and for anyone who wants to play games without breaking the bank on a stupid looking pair of elite gamer headphones, these headphones are worth a look at. However, I can't really say these headphones were comfortable for me. Sure, I might just have a huge head, but there really is no plausible way an entire ear will fit into the ear cuffs (unless the ear in question belongs to a small child). I recently purchased some sony xm4's (the standard headphone for comparison), so I've really learned what all of these features are supposed to feel like as far as noise cancelling and over the ear comfort go. Good sound for your games, but squeezes your head a little much. Would I recommend this to another person? Yeah, it's only ~$30 and you'll at least have a decent pair of cans. ... show more

    • Great Headphones - Great Customer Service
Short Version: If you are looking for a pair of headphones that are inexpensive (as compared to other headphones with similar features and sound quality), comfortable and really a joy to wear, with a company that will have your back if something should go wrong with the headphones, you should consider giving these a spin. I don't think you will be disappointed! I have not used the mic on at all so I'm not rating or commenting on the functionality of the mic'd cord that comes with the headphones. I think it's a cool idea, just don't know how that part works. Long Version: First, I think that noise cancellation ratings on head phones that don't have noise cancellation is misleading. With that in mind, I feel like rating noise cancellation is a bit weird. My rating is for my perceived ability of the headphones to cancel out the ambient cube farm noise that I have at work. It does a good enough job that people still startle me when they walk up to me to talk. They also don't block it enough that when people walk up and talk to me directly I don't notice at all. I find it to be a good balance for what I use the headphones for. That is why I gave it 4 stars, it's my rating for how these headphones block noise for my use at work. I work in a cube farm where it can be quite noisy. I stream music and I wanted a pair of headphones that I could use to help eliminate at least some of the noise and be able to enjoy my music. My requirements were perhaps not quite what everyone looks for in headphones but were: inexpensive, comfortable, sound good, no extra features like active noise canceling and I wanted them to be corded. I was also looking for headphones that you could switch the cords out. I had a pair of the Edifier headphones previously but the cord broke at the base of the headphones as the built in corded headphones tend to do. These headphones were the perfect solution. They were excellent and met all my requirements...until the day the right ear piece snapped off the headband. I never mistreated them. They just live in a drawer by themselves in my desk at work. I was so disappointed. I ordered a replacement set of headphones, some cheap Panasonic headphones. Meh. I just need something quick and they came in one day. They were ok for the price I paid (under $20) but nothing like the Oneodio headphones. After a week with the Panasonic headphones, I started to put another set of the Oneodio headphones in my Amazon cart when I noticed the warranty. I checked my purchase date and it hadn't even been a year. I went to the Oneodio website and filled in my warranty information and answered the question about having an issue with my headphones. In less that a day, I had an email apologizing for the inconvenience and requesting some pictures of the damage. I sent an email back with the photos of the broken headphones. I had another response within another day asking me if I would like a replacement set of headphones. I replied "yes, please" and had another email within about another day letting me know that the replacement headphones were being mailed and another email would arrive with the tracking number after they shipped. I got the tracking number email shortly after and within about 3 days, I had a brand new set of Oneodio headphones. The total time from registering my warranty to getting the replacement headphones was about 1 week. I was overjoyed. I keep the Panasonic headphones as an emergency pair at home but use the new Oneodio headphones every single day at work. Like I mentioned above, I think for the price these are a really good headphone option. I like the sound and I listen to everything from Mozart to Metallica. I would not classify myself as an audiophile, I just love music. I don't think you will be disappointed if you decide to give these headphones a try. ... show more

I Love the fact that, there could be so much goin' on around me and if I can't go to another room if I'm away from home I can put these suckers on and put on my tune's and be extremely happy!😁 And folks I'm 60 years old! Now for the negative part! I only use these for my phone, so I can talk to my twin sister, the 🎤 on it didn't last very long! It quit on me in the 3rd month that I used it, BUT the 🎧 works GREAT!!! ... show more
